The apartment is at the center of the Biennale, between Arsenale and Giardini. In the immediate vicinity also parks, magnificent views of San Marco's basin (the Square is a 10-minute walk), bars, restaurants, markets, shops. You'll like it for the quaint atmosphere, the lively neighborhood, the Venetian residents, the wide open spaces and shady freshness of the trees. The flat has just been renovated, everything is new and modern, but the building is very old, dating back to the late Middle Age!

The space

The accommodation is suitable for couples, lone adventurers, business travelers and families with children (max 2).
It is not suitable for those who require air conditioning: we don't like air conditioning and therefore we chose not to put it. We prefer open windows, and fans!

Guest access

Guests will have the keys and could come and go freely. Try the experience of living in Venice just as the Venetians!

Interaction with guests

When booking we will send you clear and detailed instructions to easily reach the apartment.

We live in the house next door, and we are always available to guests who need assistance, information and advice.

Other things to note

The check-in is possible no later than 23.
This means that if you arrive by plane, your flight must land within 21.

The flat was amazing. We were in Venice for the biennale and it was ideally located. Also it's close to Lido so you can go the beach in just half an hour and yet if you want to go to the middle of the noise you are only five minutes away. Marilia was a great host. I super recommend the place.

We had a great time in Venice and Marilia's place is the perfect spot to explore the city. It is conveniently located about a minute away from some nice bars, restaurants and a supermarket and is in easy walking distance to the vaporetto. The apartment was spotless clean, very airy and spacious. Marilia was a great host and gave us some local recommendations and was always quick to answer any questions I had. There was some tea, coffee, pasta and other food condiments in the cupboard which was nice too! Highly recommended if you want to be close to San Marco but still want to live like the locals do.

Marilia's place is located in the core of Castello, a popular real venetian district. The flat is located in a small quite corte, just few steps to Via Garibaldi, the main artery of the district. Marilia is the perfect host, both helpful and reserved. She suggested very good local osteria and she was very helpful with any recommendation about the area. The flat is very clean and tidy, just recently refurbished. I will recommend Marilia's place for both people who are interested in visiting a real venetian district without avoiding the more turistics sestieri and people interested in visiting Lido and the other parts in the Laguna.

Mi piacciono i bambini. Mi piacciono i capelli rossi, i libri, i boschi.
