This two story fully furnished wooden cabin, built in 2015, is uniquely nestled in the forest on a 3 hectare (7.5 acre) farm. From your window, you can see birds and the occasional sloth. We would love to take you around to see what seasonal crops are growing, such as yucca, corn, beans, bananas, and sugarcane. We also have a sugarcane mill, calves, chickens, pigs, and a biodigestor. Best of all, we're located only 5 minutes from downtown Santa Elena, and close to all Monteverde attractions.

Interaction with guests

I am always available at my home (just steps from the cabin), or by cell ph(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)).

Breakfast available at additional cost, by previous reservation (by 5pm the day before), at cabins located by a 100m trail.

Costa Rican traditional dinner available at my home (steps from your cabin) at additional cost, by previous reservation by 9am the day you'd like dinner. We can also see what's available on the farm to help cook dinner.

We had a wonderful stay here with our two children, aged 2 and 12. We absolutely loved staying at Anabeliz's beautiful cabin - it was magical! In such an incredible location, and the cabin itself was so cosy, clean and welcoming. You have to have Anabeliz's breakfasts! My son is still talking about them :) Anabeliz was so friendly and helpful, and she helped us organise some fantastic trips, including a night tour of the rainforest, which I can't recommend enough! It was a total highlight of our whole trip. I'd recommend this wonderful place to anyone - you won't regret it! Thank you so much Anabeliz for helping to make our holiday so amazing :)

We stayed for three nights with our three-year old daughter. The place is good for families, most amenities are provided for a comfortable stay. It is quiet and secure, within walking distance to the centre (took us about 15-20 mins). The configuration worked really well for us, two rooms and a lounge-kitchen downstairs. The kitchen is adequately stocked, all utensils, pots and pans are there for making basic meals. Anabeliz was quick to respond to messages and made good recommendations/arrangements for us. She has a lovely and busy farm, friendly dogs and quiet neighbours.

Anabeliz is a wonderful host, very friendly and kind. She is very knowledgeable of the local area and activities. The farm the property is in is beautiful with amazing wildlife. It is in a brilliant location, just far enough out of town to be peaceful and quiet but close enough to walk in to. 10 minutes to all local attractions. The house is beautiful, with all necessary amenities and was immaculate on arrival. thank you very much for having us!

We had a lovely time here. Annabeliz was very friendly and helpful. We ordered her Costa Rican breakfast one morning which was delicious. Highly reccomend this. Beautiful spot with walks round the farm and use of the swimming pool at the nearby cabanas. The tourist information at the nearby cabanas was especially helpful. It was informative without trying to sell tours. We would definetly reccomend staying here.

We stayed at Anabeliz's for two nights. We loved the cabin it was beautifully clean and comfortable. Anabeliz couldn't do enough for us, driving us around and picking us up. Even though her English was limited and our Spanish was non existence we managed to communicate. She showed us all around her farm which was very interesting. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Anabeliz's place is beautiful. All the essential are there. I enjoyed waking up and hearing the birds and roosters. Even though we did not have much time to explore her farm in depth the parts we did get to see were nice. Monteverde is a very tourist friendly town so getting around is easy. There were so many things to do there and she offers to help set up tours and transportation if you like. If you are planning to rent a car I do suggest getting a 4 wheel drive car since the town is in the mountains and not all roads are paved. Overall I enjoyed my stay here.

Anabeliz took the time to show my kids around the farm. We are city people, so this was very interesting to them. The guest house is very nice and perfect for a family of 4. The weather in August was really nice and it was cool enough in the evening to close the windows. I was a little concerned about the lack of screens on the windows, but it turns out that bugs are not a problem. There is a nice little path on the property for a short walk with the kids or to let them go on their own. Anabeliz arranged a very nice horseback riding trip that ended at a hot spring pool for swimming. This was the highlight of our stay in Monteverde.
