Enjoy sweeping views of the sea from your own private balcony - you'll feel away from all the stresses of everyday life.

This stylish, modern apartment is beautifully furnished and would suit two couples or friends sharing, with one kingsize and one super kingsize bedroom (both ensuite). WiFi provided, plus all towels and linen.

The flat is a few minutes walk from Sovereign Harbour's Waterfront area, which has a supermarket, shops, cinema, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Saturday changeover

The space

This contemporary flat is spacious and light, with stunning sea views.

There are two bedrooms that sleep up to four people. The master bedroom has a super kingsize bed, and an ensuite with bath and shower over. The second bedroom also doesn't skimp on bed size, with a kingsize and an ensuite shower room.

The lounge is tranquil and relaxing, with a large L-shaped leather sofa in front of the TV, DVD player and iPod docking system. Patio doors open on to a balcony where you can soak up the sea air and watch the boats go by.

The dining kitchen is modern and well equipped, with seating for up to four. There is a dishwasher, fridge-freezer washer dryer, microwave and a Tassimo coffee machine as well as a good array of cooking equipment.

WiFi is provided, along with all towels and linen. There is an allocated space in a secure, underground car park.

Bookings are in week long blocks, from Saturday to Saturday in peak season. Out of season and last minute, more flexible check in days may be possible.

We are a husband and wife team, Carl and Sarah Stanger.

Carl’s background is in marketing, much of it international, which helped feed his love of travel – nicely topping up two separate global backpacking years. Experiencing a diverse mix of swanky but often soulless business class hotels and friendly but basic hostels shapes an opinion of what travellers need and want (and, as importantly, don’t).

Sarah enjoyed a career in public relations prior to roles as mother, director for Exclusively Holiday Homes and chief family organiser.

A shift away from London has many advantages for a young family who love fresh air, the outdoor life and a beach at the end of the road!
