About this listing

Guests will have the full use of a 26' Travel Trailer that has one queen sized bed. The dinette and sofa can be made into beds for children. Farm Fresh eggs are available each morning, as well as coffee, tea, cereal and fruit.

Centrally located between Greenwood & Grand Forks, with easy access to Jewel Lake, Wilgress Lake, Phoenix Ski hill etc.

The 10 acre property backs on to the Trans Canada Trail and is bordered by wooded crown land.

Suitable for a single person, couple, or small family.

The space

The 26' Travel Trailer is yours to use while you stay. It has both A/C and heating to keep you comfortable. The kitchen has a small fridge and freezer and a 3 burner gas range with oven. The bathroom has a small tub and shower, but typical to a travel trailer the hot water tank is small. A TV and DVD player and movies are provided. It comes fully stocked, including bedding, towels, a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishes and pots and pans. If you need something we haven't already provided, just let us know and we will do what we can to assist you. The space is suitable for a single person, couple or couple with kids. There is one queen sized bed in the bedroom, plus the dinette and sofa convert to small beds suitable for children or adults 5'3" or shorter. We welcome your pets, to a maximum of 2 due to space restrictions.

Outside the property is a fire pit for your personal use (dependant on fire restrictions). Limited amounts of firewood will also be provided.

We provide the fixings for breakfast while you stay, including coffee, tea, fruit, cereal and eggs. We also provide basic condiments, sugar, salt and pepper, ketchup, mustard, relish, milk and cream. All you need to bring are your cooking skills and bacon!

There is no cell service on the property making this the perfect place if you want to go "off the grid" for a few days. Wifi is available but due to limited data availability we ask that our guests do not use any streaming services while they stay with us.

We have a small hobby farm with Chickens and Ducks that roam the property during the day. We also have 2 young Labs that spend a lot of time playing outside. Please let us know ahead of time if this is a problem and we will keep them away during your stay.

The 10 acre property backs right on to the Trans Canada Trail and is bordered by crown land, making it a perfect place for hiking or biking. We have a seasonal creek and pond on the property with pathways cut into the field for you to enjoy.

There is a pool available for use while you are here. The chlorinated pool is above ground, 22' long, 12' wide and 4' deep. All children under the age of 14 must be supervised at all times while in the pool. Absolutely no diving or rough housing while in the pool. There is a foot wash station at the base of the ladder, please rinse your feet before entering the pool.

Guest access

Guests are welcome to roam the property while they are staying. We ask that they do not enter the buildings on the property including the house, cabin, greenhouse, workshop and chicken coop.

Interaction with guests

We work from home and are outside for the majority of the day. We are available if you need anything, but if you want privacy we are happy to leave you alone.

Other things to note

There is no cell service or cable available at Brown Acres. The trailer is off the grid in almost every sense of the word. However, a phone is available for making calls and limited wifi is also available.

Sabrina's trailer was such a treat... it's our first time to stay in a trailer and we loved it... the place is so clean, we have what we needed... the AC is a bonus... the area is so peaceful and tranquil... at night we could see a lot of stars and it's so quiet... the bedding and pillows are very comfortable... our friend who stayed at the other bed said it's comfortable as well... too bad we only stayed for one night coz we would haved loved to explore the trails around their area..we easily found their place with no problem coz she gave precise instructions...we would recommend their place for sure and would stay again for sure.

This is lovely place to stay. We enjoyed the fresh eggs, and the ducks, geese, and chickens that are grazing about. It was surrounded by beautiful scenery and nice cool pool!

Sabrina's place was great value. The trailer was clean and had air conditioning which was a huge bonus. They provided cream, milk, fruit, eggs and even cereal. Their dogs were super friendly and our dog loved playing with them. Perfect doggy day care. The trailer is located on a huge beautiful property with a walking trail. We were very happy with our stay. Thanks!
