Located in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Portland, this studio basement apartment has everything you need and more! Quiet neighborhood and walkable to some of Portland's yummiest places! The kitchen provided everything you need to cook up some meals and save some pennies for ice cream at Salt N Straw. ;) Tyan was attentive and wanted to make sure I was comfortable.

Loved the neighborhood!! Tons of little shops, restaurants and bars. Tyan and Lisa's place was very comfortable and clean. The basement apartment had everything I need and was a great place to relax in between running around Portland.

We had a wonderful time in Portland staying at Lisa and Tyan's basement apartment. Lisa made us feel right at home and was super friendly and helpful during our stay. The apartment itself is cozy and cool in the summer heat. Lisa and Tyan have thought of every detail with all the comforts of home provided, it really felt like we were taken care of. The location was great too, we rented bikes and had a fun time biking all around town. Portland has great bike-friendly streets, it's a nice way to see the city and get exercise too. We biked down the esplanade to visit OMSI and it was such a beautiful view along the Willamette. There was also plenty to explore in the neighborhood with amazing food everywhere: Pine State Biscuits, Salt and Straw (best ice cream ever), Great Notion Brewery, The Big Egg, and Beast, just to name a few places we tried. It's a short walk to the huge grocery store, New Seasons, and Walgreens, also to the Kennedy School. Had a great time and I would totally book this place again in a heartbeat.

Great basement apartment with everything I needed for my nine-night visit to Portland. A short one block walk to restaurants, a brewery, coffee shops, and more on Alberta. Tyan and Lisa were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, I'd stay here again!

Tyan and Lisa were very gracious hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. They gave us good advice on where to go and how to get there. They went out of there way to make us welcome and comfortable, not that it was needed because the accommodations were more than what I expected. The little amenities were a nice touch, soaps, q-tips to tea and splenda to name a few. We would return , it was a good central location for our adventures out into the city or countryside.
