My place is a 10 minute walk to West End, the beach , restaurants and dining . The nicest feature of my cabana is the peaceful feeling of overlooking the jungle and viewing the Caribbean, it is very private and tranquil. Everything is brand new. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

We had an incredible stay in George's cabana. He was an excellent host and the property is a little piece of island paradise. I highly recommend you let George arrange for his local cab driver to pick you up. Not only was it $5 cheaper to have George's driver pick us up, but the driver offered very helpful information about the island. The cabana is a nice walk into town during the day. At night, I recommend taking a cab back since the road from town in not well lit and there in no sidewalk. The cab should not cost you more than $3. If you want to get a great view of the island, George also rents his motor bike out by the day and his rates are better than what you can get in town. We rented it one morning and explored most of the island, it was a blast. I would recommend George's cabana to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This place is perfect if you need a place to keep your belongings and to sleep while you explore the island. George arranged to have us picked up which was great to not have to worry about that since this was our first visit. Dennis charged $25 to get us to the place and also stopped at the grocery store. The place is close to the main area of the West End and we walked a ton. Again, a nice place if you’re here for island exploration. Can’t beat the price!

Lovely little space to enjoy as home while you explore the island. George sent a personal taxi to pick me up from the ferry, that stopped so I could get groceries to stock up for the stay. Place has a private bath, fridge, stoves and sink and tv. George is very helpful and offers great advice for exploring the island. Really enjoyed my time here.

Loved this quiet cabin! George was a great host and his property was amazing. The cabana is secluded and has ocean views, so you really feel like you're in paradise. George was very nice and rented his scooter to us, which was helpful because it would have been hard to hail a taxi (or expensive to call a private taxi) to go to and from the house, because of its hidden location. I would definitely stay here again!

George's Cabana is absolutely amazing! It's the perfect distant from town, has all basic amenities and the view is spectacular. My partner and I fully enjoyed ourselves and would stay there again in a heartbeat. We've already referred a friend of ours to stay at George's during here time on Roatan! Being as it was our first time to Roatan, it was very helpful of George to arrange someone to get us from the airport. Dennis picked us up, took us to the grocery store and shared with us some interesting facts about the island while pointing out native cacao trees and informing us that it was Mango season. Yummm! The cabana itself was perfect and we loved having a kitchen available to cook in. Eating out everyday for every meal can get both exhausting and expensive. George let us rent his scooter for the whole day for $20–which was the best decision we've ever made! We thoroughly explored the island and relished in all of its tropical glory. Little tip: don't get ripped off by the cab drivers. Town is in walking distance, but if you stay out too late and have one too many rum punches, the taxi fare shouldn't be more than $3 :] We don't have a single bad thing to say about our experience at Geroge's house.

My partner and I could not have asked for better hosts than George and his girlfriend Arleth. Both were more than just good hosts but lovely people who did more than we could have asked for. If it wasn't for their help in suggestions of what to do, where to go, and what to see (and tourist traps to avoid), we wouldn't have had the beautiful experiences we did in Roatan. If you are looking for a resort like experience in which you are catered to and never leave the beach or hotel you're staying in, this is not the place for you. If you love adventure and nice secluded haven to come home to at night and wake up to in the morning, this is the place for you. The high placed cabana has a view to die for and is about a 15 minute walk to West End beach and restaurants which we enjoyed because we were not always surrounded by the hubbub of drinking and music all night. George also has a scooter he very affordably rents out which transformed our trip as we were able to see the entire island and stopped in many memorable places Arleth and him suggested for us, all of which exceeded expectation. There is a full kitchen with gas stove and oven, definitely enough to cook at home as we often had meals at home. The deck of the cabana is by far it's best feature with a hammock and chairs to sit and drink morning coffee or meditate; even a yoga mat that George let me borrow to complete my morning routine. The shower doesn't seem to get hot but very quickly when showering at the day's end you will be thankful for that as you'll be so hot and it will feel great. George also keeps purified water to drink in the cabana and clean sheets and towels whenever you need them. He also let us borrow snorkel gear to avoid paying to rent it or have someone take us snorkeling so we did it on our own by the reef is West Bay which was unreal. Arleth and George also joined us for dinner a few times and it was great to get to know them. They were both always readily available by phone ((SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)) if we ever needed anything and were extremely gracious. Only wish we could have stayed longer as Roatan was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been full of all different cultures and communities and people. This cabana and its owners really know how to make you feel at home and I recommend it to anyone thinking of coming to the great island of Roatan :)

Nice little house up on the hill. 10 minutes walk from West End, in the Main Street. We had a warm welcome from George, he wanted to be sure our stay was great!
