I must again give this experience above five stars. What a breathtaking home. One walks into this 18th century rustic barn remodeled into this exquisite abode. Upon entry one is visually swept away by the greatroom with the twin lofts on each side. A quick walk up the stairs and stunning rooms invite you remain just a moment at the threshold. These rooms are impeccably designed to pause and take a picture. Throughout the structure hand hewn beams grace the architecture as objects of primitive art. What a pleasure for the eyes. Let me add the whimsical settng of her table for breakfast! No one goes hungry. Misty is an absolute delight and I thoroughly enjoyed conversing with her. Just a lovely time. I would enthusiastically reccomend this hidden treasure. Additionally Misty and family are a gregarious crew. I know her next guests will not be disappointed.

* great hosts - as much privacy as you desire, yet there if you want to engage them * renovated barn into well-designed comfortable home is a special "must see" * country setting, yet ideally situated to easily reach anywhere within the Capital District and surrounding region * guest room(s) have true good ole northeast country flavor * very clean throughout * delicious country breakfast included -- (adds to the value of the already customer-friendly price) * conclusion: I visit the area periodically, and regardless of the time of year, this is now my "go-to" place to stay

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Misty's! The house itself is incredibly beautiful, and Misty and her family were kinder and more hospitable than we could have ever dreamed. If we ever get the chance to return to the area, we would hope to stay with Misty again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Misty's. The room was exactly as pictured and Misty's barn converted house is super charming, unique and classy! It was the perfect getaway from the city. The breakfast Misty kindly offered (with fresh local yogurt and fruits) was delicious and refreshing. Thanks so much Misty! We'd love to come back!

Misty and her family were very welcoming. We arrived extremely late due to traffic and Misty even texted to ask if we'd be hungry and if we'd like something to eat upon arrival (after midnight). Breakfast was great and the room was extremely comfortable. There were snacks and toiletries in the room for our convenience.
