A charming old Mendip cottage with period features that was once tied to a former local brewery. It's close to Kilver Court, the Bath & West Showground and is midway between Glastonbury and Bath, and between Wells and Frome.

The space

Great room with a high ceiling is ideal for two but will sleep three. There are two double beds: one full-size double on a mezzanine accessed by a ladder, the other is a small double sofa bed. There is a desk, fast WiFi, TV and DVD player.
Continental breakfast provided.

Guest access

Shared bathroom with a good shower and roll-top bath. Guests can make tea and coffee when they wish, and bring their own food to eat in the dining room.

Interaction with guests

I'm happy to chat or leave guests be as they wish, and to provide local information and ideas for places to visit

Other things to note

Parking is on street – usually not a problem

This was our first experience of the Airbnb concept and we could not have had a more pleasant and reassuring baptism. Jackie is the most genial, generous host, and extremely helpful in guiding us towards local attractions. The cottage is truly delightful and the room we occupied was extremely comfortable; its location is ideal for exploring Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Stourhead Gardens and various others. Thank you so much Jackie :-)

Beautiful and very special place. We were only able to stay for one night due to our short brake but that's definitely wasn't enough for us and we wished we could stay longer. Jackie was a wonderful host and she made us feel very welcome. The pictures of her home does not show the real beauty of this place. The village is lovely and quiet. There is a pub in the village serving amazing food and offering you a discount if you're staying at Jackie's. Many interesting places to see in the area, really worth to visit ( Jackie was very helpful with that too ) Breakfast was very very nice thank you! We are hope to see you again.

This is such a beautiful and warm bnb. Jackie and her partner are both incredibly friendly yet respectfully mindful of your personal space. They are an absolute wealth of information about the region and 30 minuets chatting to them in the morning will make for planning an amazing day touring and sightseeing. We can not recommend highly enough. We loved staying here.
