The room is lovely and well designed. The location is the best in manhattan. I walked to every nice east-village-restaurant when I was staying there. Olga&GL are a lovely and friendly couple. They are very helpful.

A warm, lovely couple that I had the pleasure of getting to know during my stay. I was out of the apartment running around for most of my trip, so I didn't get to spend very much time with them, but I appreciated that we struck a good balance of being friendly and giving each other space. They are two people I would happily be friends with! The apartment is a typically small 2-bedroom in NYC but Olga and Gian Luca have decorated it in a very charming and homey way, and have used the space well. It looks onto beautiful green space and I felt very comfortable in their guest bedroom. The two of them are very considerate about your space and noise. As it is with NYC living, though, you might want to bring ear plugs in case you're sensitive to some street noise or people moving about the apartment when you're sleeping (the guest room is right next to the kitchen). The apartment is in the heart of Alphabet City, so allocate time to walk longer avenue blocks to reach the subway (if you are always running late, like me!). I had a wonderful time taking long walks around the neighborhoods downtown. I lived in NYC for eight years and was back for a brief visit to see friends, and this was the perfect NYC stay for me.

these two ❤ my friends Olga and GianLuca are the best hosts that you can imagine. The apartment is lovely, east village is the best neighbourhood in NYC, 10min away from the apartment there is a free public pool that I went to for morning laps. I lived with them for three weeks and was sad to leave them. You can do nothing wrong with this sweet couple, definitely recommend!

I stayed with Olga and GianLuca for 27 nights and I really enjoyed it. From the minute I arrived at their residence, GianLuca walked me around the neighborhood and I got two errands done (altering my suit jacket and getting a local cellphone number). This showed me how helpful the hosts were from the get-go and it certainty sticked around till the end of my stay. Below are different topics that I want to highlight regarding my stay: *My experience* Olga and GianLuca were fantastic, humble and cool people. They are thoughtful and willing to help with any questions that you may need (Including the occasional relationship advice). Thank you guys! I already miss you and your jokes haha. I arrived in NYC on my birthday where I came from a long flight from overseas. Therefore, evidentially, I didn't get to celebrate my special day. However, the hosts noted that and decided to treat me for a movie. How cool is that? Additionally, they were really helpful when it comes to showing me which bus to take to work. As I was new to the city and didn't know much about the public transport system there. If you enjoy cooking, they have a well-equipped kitchen with all the supplies that you may need. I cooked my breakfast almost every morning. This, among our things (Including having a spare umbrella, restaurant choices, events and where I could do my workouts), was why I really enjoyed my stay at Olga and GianLuca. *Location* The location of their apartment was great for me as my commute was in Manhattan and I wanted something close (In NYC standards of course). It is located in East Village which is filled with different activities, restaurants and a cool park to hangout where you can occasionally see falcons. *Entertainment and leisure* I'm a big foodie and I really enjoy quality food (the hosts do too) so I've accumulated a list of my favorites for you below. I also enjoy running and often I would cross the FDR and run along the east river reaching as far as Manhattan Bridge with a very scenic view. From the apartment, you can walk up to Avenue A, 1st Avenue, 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue; each has a certain flavor to it. Try to walk on the 8th and its continuation (St Mark Pl) for a lively scene. *Conclusion* All-in-all, I would definitely recommend a stay at Olga and GianLuca. I have learned a lot during my stay and had a ton of fun. Cheers. *List of great restaurants nearby:* Cafe Mogador Katz's Delicatessen il laboratorio del gelato Mighty Quinn's Barbeque Momofuku noodles bar Black seed bagels Veniero's Pastry Pylos Blue Ribbon fried chicken

Olga and GL were the best air bnb hosts I could have imagined! They are so friendly and it was awesome getting to know them and their lovely neighborhood. I stayed for close to a month, and I'm already missing being in the city. The bedroom was comfortable and the apartment was adorable — in addition to being well-stocked. The building even has a beautiful rooftop that made for a great place to relax and watch the sunset. Thanks, Olga and GL!

They were very quick with responding to messages before the trip. They also did everything they could to help with questions that I had. I really recommend a stay at Olga and GianLuca's place.
