Despite not meeting Ane, we felt immediately welcome in her lovely apartment in Copenhagen. She explained the route from the airport clearly, and gave detailed instructions on where to rent bikes, the nearest supermarkets and good bars / cafes in the local area and in the wider city. Beyond that, she left the apartment stocked with necessities meaning we could relax upon arrival.
Situated in trendy Nørrebro, the flat is around 25 mins walk / 10 min cycle from the city centre, but there is also plenty going on nearby, with dozens of bars, cafes and the amazing Superkilen park only a road away. Copenhagen isn't a big city, but it was nice in the evenings to be able to do things closer to home after a long day of activities.
Size wise it was perfect for two, with a spacious living/dining room and an airy master bedroom. While we didn't spend a lot of daytime in the apartment, we did utilise the shared roof terrace to have dinner in the sun - highly recommended. The only small qualm was the bathroom, which was small and not massively user friendly. However this appears to be a common theme in Copenhagen flats, and not a reason to be put off at all!
My girlfriend and I had an amazing week in Copenhagen, and would not hesitate to stay in the apartment again. 9/10 highly recommended!
