Quaint yurt with a chilled out vibe, located in a quiet rural farm. Well kitted out and a nice touch to have personal use of the kitchen/cabin of needed! Friendly and helpful host (especially Oscar the dog!) which made for a very relaxing weekend. Thanks!

Response from Sharon:
This was a booking for our Yurt and due to weather we were behind with putting it up so cancelled in case it wasn't ready. It was cancelled straight away and had come on line before I managed to take off line my error.

My husband and I had a magical stay in this yurt! We were surprised and delighted by everything it had to offer. Comfortable bed, wood burning fireplace, furniture, cooking supplies. Toilets were a short easy walk away and the bonus kitchen and living space were great. Everything was so clean, decorated nicely. We went in sept- a bit off season but it was still warm and cozy. I'd assume the field would be busy with caravans in the middle of summer - just a heads up, but it was quiet for us in Sept. We could hear the road like other reviewers said but it was a distant enough sound we easily tuned out and it did not bother us, so don't worry about that factor. We keep talking about the yurt as a highlight of our whole vacation, we look forward to coming back next time we are in England!

Sharon made us feel very welcome :) From before we arrived, she replied to messages promptly and was very helpful. We booked it last minute, so her help was much appreciated! The yurt is beautiful, clean and cosy. It has everything you could possibly need in it and there plenty of beautiful places near by. We made this journey by public transport from Wales. It is very close to Bristol and Devon and despite being very rural has an excellent stagecoach service that will almost drop you to the campsite! We would definitely come here again.

Thanks Deborah glad you enjoyed your stay specially as you didn't have any transport with you.

I live in a Pink Farmhouse in Somerset with Gary and our 3 children after having moved from the London area nearly 20 years ago with our very young children at the time. Gary's parents have also made the move and live next door. Gary runs a Jaguar Business from here and we later started a small Camp site we both enjoy meeting people and we like to try our best to ensure that our visitors enjoy their time in Somerset and have a good look round the area.
We are both friendly and accommodating family people and general treat people as how we would like to be treated.
We have enjoyed travelling with our family in the past and have been fortunate to stay with our wonderful friends in amazing places around the world, staying with friends has allowed us to really get to know and explore the real country. One of our favourite places to date is South Africa .
We are friendly homely people and a relaxing past time is to enjoy a nice home cooked meal with a bottle of wine especially Alfresco.
We look forward to your stay and sharing with you our local knowledge of this beautiful county sometimes passed by on route to Devon and Cornwall.
