This apartment is located in the Courtney Building in the Hilltop neighborhood. It is above a friendly pub, a great Pho restaurant, and a good-natured Pawn shop. This is a central inner-city neighborhood that is easily accessible to parks, museums, universities, & 2 major hospitals, St Joe's and Tacoma General. Within walking to grocery store.
The apartment is a studio with a kitchen, private bath, double bed, seating area, cable TV, internet. A secure building with free street parking.

Welcome to studio "Sunshine Daydreams"! Please read all information before booking ~ I try to be very clear about what is and is not included in each apartment!
This is a furnished private studio apartment in a secured building. This is Studio #7- clearly marked on the door. There is a bed, a table, and a few chairs in the studio. The kitchen is equipped with your basic cooking needs. If you want to cook a huge turkey dinner, contact me for extra pots and pans.
There is internet access, a T.V. with cable, and Blu-ray/DVD player. We have DVDs that you can borrow down at the Pawn shop.

There are other units upstairs with full time tenants. We ask that you be considerate of your noise level - on the other hand you are above a restaurant and a bar and it can be a bit boisterous. This can be a fun place to stay, especially if you want to hook into the community.
You are centrally located but are inner city and we do have a homeless population. This is a fun and lively neighborhood and you are within walking distance of some great restaurants and pubs. Also within walking distance is a Safeway, a post office, and two major hospitals- Tacoma General and Saint Joseph. You are on a bus line. You are close to downtown where the art museums are located, and the convention center.
The Tacoma dome is 2.5 miles away.
Wrights park is a wonderful place to walk, enjoy the arboretum and summer concerts.
We have other rooms available in the same building so go to our profile and it will show you our other option and dates. Perhaps you need two rooms! We might be able to accommodate.

The Courtney Building is a great old Gal built out of brick in 1922 Located downstairs are the owners of the Courtney building and the proud owners of Hilltop loans, Tacoma's favorite pawn shop. Also located down stairs is the "Peterson's 1111" Bar and grill and Pho Bac's Vietnamese soup. She has Nine apartments upstairs, two of them proudly hosting ABNB guests. We respect your privacy but are available for any interactions that you wish. The Pawn shop downstairs is open 11:00AM to 6:00PM Monday through Saturday. Come on down and we will be happy to share our recommendations about Tacoma. Hilltop Loans, Tacoma's favorite pawn shop, is known for their jewelry and musical instruments. I have also made a list of things to do and you will find that in your room. We also respect your privacy if you do not feel like interacting. It is all good!
