Interaction with guests

We'll greet you with a smile and show you around. Supper is a family affair you are welcome to share. Our culinary skills are global, but we often source local. Mornings are all about breakfast and getting you ready for the day or on your way.

The neighbourhood

We are in the Genesee River valley. Surrounded by farms and forest. Easy on site trails and access to riverfront. The NYS DEC WAG Trail runs through our property using the right of way from the old Wellsville, Addison and Galeton Railroad bed, the so-called Sole Leather line. Perfect for fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking or hanging out. Deer forage in the fields, hear the frogs peep. Study the night sky with the telescope, roast a marshmallow over the campfire.

Getting around

We are on a dead end dirt road, six miles from town.

Other things to note

This is a rural area. There are wild animals outside.

John and Erica are great - they are very welcoming, accommodating, and genuine people. The WAG Trail Inn is great value for the money, especially considering that it includes two home-cooked meals. I enjoyed using the walking trails along the river right across the road from the Inn. When I got slightly lost trying to find the place on my first night's stay, Erica responded immediately to my text asking directions and got me there on time for supper. I highly recommend staying here!

Erica and John were absolutely fantastic!! This was my first time using an AirBnB and they made my first experience a memorable one! Right from the get go they were so helpful considering the fact I booked my room the night before and was going to be arriving fairly late. They welcomed me with open arms and a plate of delicious food the second I walked through the door. Their cabin is absolutely gorgeous and provides a huge sense of feeling at home and is super cozy. Everything about my stay in Wellsville was great. Ericas cooking was delicious, she even had a plate waiting for me when I arrived at 10PM! Their two pups were great to have around and were very very well behaved. I would definitely recommend this awesome couple and look forward to staying again soon!
