Modern, yet rustic studio with open floor plan designed to comfortably accommodate 2-3 guests. The studio is conveniently located walking distance from Alberta Arts District, Historic Mississippi Ave, and booming North Williams neighborhood. Additionally, it is situated directly in front of an open park which can be used leisure activities. My place is great for couples, individuals, and business trips.

The space

You will be in the heart of Northeast Portland and will quickly realize why it is the best part of town.

We clean the space with all natural cleaning products, recycle and compost religiously, and conserve water and electricity whenever and however we can. We love the earth and want to sustain its beauty for as long as possible, and hopefully you do too.

Guest access

The whole studio apartment is yours. Furnished living room and stocked kitchen. Free, on street parking, always with available spots. The washer and dryer is located in the hallway going to the apt which is shared space. The front patio is for you to use but is shared with myself. I live on the main floor but have never had issue with maintaining guest privacy.

The apartment is lovely, even nicer than the photos. We especially enjoyed having breakfast in the sunshine on the patio. It comes equipped with everything we needed with added bonus of PG tips and a cold beer. It is really close to Alberta Street with lots of great shops, bars and restaurants and amazing ice cream! We used the bikes from outside to get to downtown which was easy and only $12 for the day. Norbert was out of town whilst we were there but still checked we were okay and gave clear instructions on how to get in. Would highly recommend this place.

Norbert's AirB&B was located perfectly for my father's visit to Portland -- within a few blocks of Alberta Street, quick access to MLK Boulevard and the highways for adventures outside of the city, close proximity to unique restaurants and neighborhood pubs. The outdoor shared porch was a true highlight, as it overlooks the shared park where the farmers market is staged on Sundays.

Great place clean and comfortable. Good sized tv to watch in the morning and evening to relax after long day. Restaurants and breweries were all walkable. Rental bikes and uber were readily available as well. Host was quick to respond to message when checking in and checking out. Would stay here again if we come to Portland.

My husband and I loved Norbert's place! The studio was so warm and cozy and had all the amenities one would ever need. Check in and check out were a breeze. The location was perfect too - close to many great bars and restaurants and easy to get any where around the city. We can't wait to come back!

Really great place to stay. It is close to NE Alberta which has a lot of places to eat and check out at night. The room and bathroom are finished really nicely! I stayed with my wife and 2 year old and we were 100% satisfied with our stay.

Very comfy bed and well stocked kitchen. Tastefully decorated studio with everything you'll need. Great farmer's market Sunday mornings in season 1 block away to get breakfast and farm fresh ingredients!
