My apartment is located in the area of the central station of Santa Maria Novella, precisely where there is Piazza Santa Maria Novella with the church of the same name. It is also possible to reach the Duomo of Florence, the San Lorenzo Market, Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio on foot in 5 minutes. The tram and train stops are a minute's walk away, tram stop for Peretola airport with T2 line, Leopolda Station and Fortezza da Basso, Visarno

The space
This is a simple accommodation, a domestic apartment used for hospitality, the rooms on the street can be noisy but I provide earplugs, the bathroom is shared so cleanliness must be respected, as well as the kitchen. I do separate waste collection. And please note: there is no air conditioning, so it can be hot in summer! The wifi, however, works very well, in winter there is heating, you can use the kitchen.

Guest access
Kitchen area and living area, sofa and dining table

During your stay
I personally take care of interactions with guests, who will always be provided with monitored contacts on the Airbnb app chat and my WA message number! I am always available to answer questions and suggestions.

Other things to note
Dear guests, my home is your home, which is why I trust you. The apartment is shared, you have use of the kitchen and refrigerator, as well as bathrooms and other spaces. Please always leave everything tidy, the dishes washed, the dining table clean, the kitchen and sink free of food dirt, the bathroom without traces and the rubbish well separated. I always leave you soaps and useful cleaning tools, make good use of them for a pleasant stay for everyone.

Where you’ll be

Florence
Ponte Vecchio, Renaissance art, and terracotta rooftops give the city a compact skyline and streets lined with palaces, churches, and piazzas.

From the host

The Santa Maria Novella district is one of the most fascinating and lively in Florence, located in the heart of the historic centre, a few steps from the main train station and the famous Duomo. It is named after the splendid Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, one of the masterpieces of Florentine Gothic and Renaissance art, with its unmistakable white and green marble façade designed by Leon Battista Alberti.

Main points of interest
Basilica of Santa Maria Novella: in addition to the majestic architecture, it houses works by artists such as Masaccio, Giotto, Ghirlandaio and Brunelleschi.
Piazza di Santa Maria Novella: recently restored, it is an elegant place to stroll or linger in the many cafés overlooking the church.
Museo Marino Marini: dedicated to the contemporary artist, it houses sculptures and drawings in a fascinating architectural setting.
Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella: one of the oldest pharmacies in the world, founded in 1221 by Dominican friars. It still produces perfumes, essences and cosmetic preparations following ancient recipes.
Atmosphere and daily life
Santa Maria Novella is a neighbourhood that combines history and modernity: alongside the Renaissance monuments are fashion boutiques, elegant hotels, traditional restaurants and trendy clubs. Its proximity to the station also makes it an ideal starting point for exploring the rest of the city and the Tuscan countryside.

The atmosphere is cosmopolitan and lively, but retains an authentic charm. In the evening, the streets come alive with tourists and Florentines who meet in wine bars or bistros overlooking the ancient facades.

Dear guests, I'm Fabiola and I won't always be at home (for work reasons), which is precisely why I rent out my simple space, so you may share the flat with other guests. My apartment is shared with three lovely bedrooms and a common living room. I sometimes share my home with dear guests when I'm not away on business. At home, I like it to be very calm and harmonious, with a sense of friendship and respect for others and for the house. That's why I'm always looking for very well-mannered and polite people, preferably foreigners, to improve my language skills and get to know new cultures! I love travelling, good wine and food, and I am always available to recommend places to discover, restaurants and wine bars. I hope to always have great experiences and, at the same time, be a great experience for my guests! See you soon! P.S. Our check-ins are automatic; we are not present at the time of your arrival.
