Get out in nature but still enjoy the quirky indulgence of a camper. Fall asleep listening to vinyl records in the vintage 1968 Holiday Traveler, and wake up to roosters crowing. Pick up your farm basket breakfast with coffee and tea in the morning, and enjoy on your private deck, or at one of the picnic tables spread across the farm and watch the animals. The Vintage, at the edge of a 200-acre prairie, is your bedroom under the stars, quiet and peaceful - with a campfire every night.

The space
This Mid-Century Modern travel trailer is all-original to 1968, and decorated with vintage Pendleton blankets and a classic awning. Parked next to a 200-acre prairie, our Glamper is parked near the farmhouse, and you'll share in the life of the homestead with cats, dogs, ducks, goats, sheep, steers, hogs and a goose. Use the lawn games, play in the tractor-tire sandbox, borrow some books/magazines, walk/ bike into town, picnic at the tables scattered around the farm, enjoy the flower gardens, swing on swings, and snuggle in a hammock. Your fridge is stocked with local beer and pop, and you'll enjoy a farm basket breakfast in the morning and s'more by the campfire each night. Expect to see stars and hear owls.

Guest access
The Glamper is all yours, and so is a private deck. No bathroom or water in the camper, so you'll share the house bathroom. Use the outdoor shower and sink, or the clawfoot tub and double shower in the house. There are lots of picnic tables around the farm, lawn games and a campfire to share. Reserve the Barn Dry Sauna for an hour.

Other things to note
No air conditioning in the Glamper, but the nights are cool here. There is an electric heater and electric fans. There is no bathroom or running water in the camper, but you will use the nearby house bathroom.

See why we've been featured in six national magazines, including Pioneer Woman, Modern Farmer and Midwest Living! I'm a former Chicago journalist living the good life here in beautiful Blanchardville. My husband and I moved here 15 years ago, falling more in love with the area as each year passes. We keep discovering wonderful drives, shops, restaurants, vistas and people. We'd love to welcome you to our working sheep farm, and send you out to see what our rural landscape and our wonderful neighbors have to offer.

During your stay
We're a working farm, and we offer a farm tour when you arrive. You will pick up a farm basket breakfast with coffee or tea in the morning, then plan your own adventure on the farm, in the neighborhood, at one of our nearby state parks, or on the lake or river. You can take a wool craft class here on the farm, or we'll help you find shops, meals, classes, experiences, and restaurants you'll love. We've got maps, guidebooks, and great ideas.
