Other things to note

The Island of Paros is part of the Cycladic Islands and has a 120 kilometers shore line, from organized beaches to beautiful secluded sandy beaches. Some of the best well known beaches of the Island are "Kolimbithres", "Xrisi Akti", "Monastiri", "Pounda" and many more. In the summer months, the atmosphere of the Island is magical with amazing sunsets and incredible moonlit nights. The climate on Paros is not extremely hot, as there is a gentle wind, known as the "Meltemia", which is ideal for surfers. Parikia, which is the capital of the Island, has a busy nightlife with restaurants, bars and cafes. In Parikia one can also find banks, a post office, a health center and the main port of the Island. Naoussa, is the second best known town of Paros, a picturesque but very cosmopolitan fishing village with excellent restaurants and a busy nightlife. To sum up Paros in a nutshell it offers "beautiful beaches, great food and bustling nightlife", a holiday to remember.

Lovely villa, looks better in real life and has everything you need. Amazing views of the sea and very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Beach is very close, only 5 min walk away. The pool is massive, great for lengths and kept incredibly clean. I would recommend you hire a car as the local supermarket is a few kilometres away. What can I say about the host Gianni, just an amazing guy! Real respectful and humble! The local Dj and windsurfing teacher ! Awesome! I will be visiting again!

We stayed for 10 days in the villa, a family of 5. Ideally located a few hundred meters above the beach of Chrisi Akti, the house holds its promise: three very nice bedrooms - 2 bathrooms, one en-suite - a living room and a decently equipped kitchen. The terrace overlooks the sea and offers a welcomed shelter for al fresco dining. The large-size swimming pool is a fresh alternative to the beach (well known for windsurfing, having been several times the location of the PBA championships). Shared among the group of houses of the little complex, it is perfectly maintained and clean. Just ask the host Giannis for the sunloungers as they are locked away. He was very friendly and helpful during our stay - and you can book him for windsuring lessons! An important piece of advice: it is better to rent a car as nearest supermarket is too far on foot. It's also useful for exploring the nearby villages such as Naousa, Lefkes, Marpisa and Piso Livadi (the port) although there is a local bus (which we did not use) and some good restaurants within walking distance, in particular Nicolas Tavern, where we were always made to feel welcome, even when we turned up for dinner at 11pm on the first night of our arrival.
