Hola and welcome to the perfect bungalow for a relaxing visit to Kansas City. Centrally located in the lovely Volker district, the house is within walking distance to the wonderful bars and restaurants of Westport and the 39th Street district, this cozy home is the perfect location for getting around the city. The house is wonderfully decorated with local contemporary art and Ecuadorian flair so you will always have something interesting to look at.
The house is decorated in a modern style with lots of contemporary/modern furnishings. There is a LOT of local contemporary art on the walls with unique Ecuadorian artifacts sprinkled throughout the house. Some of the artists include Madeline Galluci, David Gant, Jaimie Warren, Seth Johnson, Ryan Comisky and Oswaldo Guayasamin.
The bedroom is elegantly sparse with a very comfortable full size bed. There's also a large ikea kallax ready to store any clothes or personal items.
The living room will be ready for you with a five person couch and hi-def television equipped with Netflix, HBOGO, KODI, and a WiiU (Smash Brothers and Mario Kart). You will also have access to a nice set of speakers connected to a chromecast if you would like to listen to music.
The bathroom was completely renovated in a contemporary style and is fun to spend time in. It's small but clean and new feeling with several tiny cacti to brighten the room. The lighting is bright and the new shower tiles feel very contemporary. Take a bath in the newly recoated tub.
The dining room has a large modern strut table with diamond chairs and sits next to a long series of windows. There are tons of board games in the house to play including:
Survive Escape from Atlantis
Ticket to Ride with India/Swiss/1909 expansions. No tiny cards!
The kitchen is currently undergoing a renovation but should be completely accessible during your stay. There is a very nice set dishes/silverware and a fancy All-Clad pan if you want to stay in for dinner. Theres a gas stove and microwave if you want to save some money by cooking, all you'll need is the food which you can store in the refrigerator!
There is a front porch with a couple of chairs if you'd like to sit outside and people watch. This is the place to smoke if need to. The backyard is very small but there is a fire pit if you'd like to have a small fire. The basement has a washer and dryer that is always open for you to use as well.
You will have access to most parts of the first floor including:
bathroom - this is shared, but we will use it minimally
basement washing machine/dryer
backyard fire pit
