Weavers Cottage is in the lovely village of Bonsall on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Numerous walks begin in the village; it's great for cyclists, climbers and canoeists. Two great pubs and a village shop mean you never have to leave. Extensive hillside garden with outdoor seating and lots to explore. Numerous attractions nearby ranging from historic (Chatsworth Hall, Haddon Hall, Bakewell...) to fun and games for kids in Matlock Bath (Gullivers Kingdom, Heights of Abraham)
It was indeed a "weavers cottage" and there are still two shallow "baths" the weavers used to dye the garments inside the house, one is a seat in the dining area, the other evident between the dining and living room.
The bathroom is quite special - steam sauna unit, with multiple shower options. Roll-top bath for luxury bathing. lots of interesting features throughout.
The whole house minus two rooms (a small bedroom and a storeroom are locked to keep my stuff out of the way). the rest is all yours.
Interaction with guests
I have a great housekeeper in the village who takes care of the house and any emergencies.
