If you're debating visiting, no need to debate any more. This is the place! Cindy was absolutely wonderful, thoughtful, and accommodating. The location is seriously walking distance to a beautiful, family friendly beach with a playground and all. And there is a decent, family friendly restaurant walking distance as well. I highly, highly recommend this place! It was perfect for my 3 kids (4 and 3 year olds and a 3 month old) and 2 pups.

I had a great stay at this house. It is exactly as it as described, although I don't think of it being so little. It is so close to Lake Erie, the beach is really nice and you can do a decent amount of walking. Cindy is great to work with and only a text away when I had a question. If I come back to the area, I would definitely stay there again!

Great little house a stone's throw from an awesome beach and a cool little pub. We stayed for a three day weekend and had everything we needed to feel at home. We were able make smores at the fire pit and enjoy the great fall evenings in the nice yard. Highly recommend Cindy's place to anyone who wants a nice, quiet lake getaway.

The little house is as advertised, a very quaint and cozy place. The house is decorated nicely in a beach theme. Cindy was very accommodating and flexible with our check-in time (I contacted her earlier in the week to arrange as best as possible to give her enough time to turn around the house. While quaint, the bathroom and kitchens were well-maintained and useful. While waiting to drop our bags off, the weather was nice enough to head down to Nickel Plate Beach to throw the Frisbee around (It also has sand volleyball courts, corn hole, and ping pong table). Also, we stopped at the sand bar to have a drink - the bartender and staff were very friendly. Both locations are within walking distance of the house. Route 6 is a quick drive (or 15 minute walk) with a plaza with a drug mart pharmacy and restaurants nearby. We stayed there as an in-between to going to baseball games in Detroit (about 1.5 - 2 hours away) and Cleveland (1 hour), so the location worked our well. On our drive to Detroit, we could see how close Cedar Point and the ferry to Put-in Bay is (all within 30 minutes) from house. I would highly recommend The "Little" House for both quiet getaways with nearby access to activities and sights.
