My apartment is close to Double Bay village & Edgecliff station. You’ll love my home because of the neighbourhood and the ambiance. My apartment is great for couples and business travellers.

The apartment is actually a two (2) bedroom however the second bedroom will be locked and not available to guests. You will have the entire space to yourself.

That being said, it is not your typical 1-bedroom; it is spacious and comfortable, and most guests are happily surprised how large the space is

Interaction with guests

I am available at all times should guests require any advice or have any concerns. If I do happening to be away or unavailable, I have two (2) brothers and a sister who will be contactable.

The neighbourhood

Double Bay is a vibrant neighbourhood full of bars, restaurants and cafes. Everything you will require is in easy walking distance. My building is set back from the road and my apartment is probably the most quiet and peaceful in the building overlooking a tranquil garden.

Getting around

My apartment is within 200m of the train and bus station and about 400m from the ferry. There is street parking available and limited visitor parking on the premises. A lock up garage can be arranged for a nominal fee (approx $100 per week) subject to availability.

Other things to note

There is some construction in the area however disruption is limited and should not impact upon your stay if you are out & about exploring Sydney.

Michael's apartment is perfectly located for a visit to Sydney - close to transport and walking distance to cafes and beaches to really be able to embrace the lifestyle. He is a great host, answered questions immediately and key exchange etc was no hassle at all. The apartment is fantastic - even bigger than it looks on photos and so well equipped. Thanks for a fabulous couple of weeks!

As described, the apartment is very quiet and has large proportions; living, kitchen, bedrooms etc. Michael (the host) was very accommodating beyond our expectations which made the flights early arrival and late departure times more bearable. Highly recommend

We had the pleasure of staying at Micheals . We arrived later in the afternoon. We were greeted by Micheal and he was very considerate in making sure we were set for the evening and morning. The apartment had all the essentials you need and more. The apartment was very clean, tidy and comfortable. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the back court yard. Very nice and peaceful. Micheal was very accommodating and would check in to make sure all was good and was available to help in any way. Apartment is close to train, restaurants and groc. It was all very nice and would highly recommend Micheals!

We stayed at Michaels for a couple of weeks. It was so nice we extended our stay by another week. The unit is very clean and tidy and has a very peaceful view of the back garden. The location is ideal just next to the station but also next to food and drinks! As for Michael our host, he was extremely accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend Michaels place and will be returning to stay in the summer if it's available. Lou

This is my second review to Michael and his lovely apartment which I booked for my guest to stay temporarily whilst emmergency repair works were done. Michael has been so accommodating and flexbile for extension of her stay as the work didn't finish on time, being great host to both my guest and to myself. I really appreciated Michael. As for the apartment, it is very spacious, oversized lounge and dining which are very tastefully decorated, smells beautiful with candles and aroma scent, nice collection of books etc... with balcony overlooking beautiful and quiet garden. Separate kitchen is full equipped and big, with welcome wine etc... so as bathroom with bath tub and separate shower, also laundry room. Everything was clean and looked after well. Location could not be better, only miniutes to the metro station for CBD and Bondi Junction, Double Bay is stroll away, for pleasant walk. I wish I was staying there myself! I will definitely book Michael apartment when my friends / family visit Sydney. Highly recommended.

We have extended stay so still occupying Micheal's apartment. Booking was made by myself as third party for my guest due to emergency circumstances and Michel has been extremely helpful to make everything to work out smoothly. Apartment is stylishly decorated, very clean, generous size, nice comfortable touch of candles and scent, my guest is enjoying her stay there at the moment.
