Newhaven is just down the road, with the Newhaven/Dieppe ferry, and the nearby seven sisters national park. We are surrounded by beautiful villages of the Downs and Ouse valley with numerous country pubs. Many walks, the Long man of Wilmington and White horse, giant chalk figures in the landscape are particularly striking.

Neighbourhood highlights

Iford is a beautiful ancient farming village at the foot of the downs. There are no street lights, so wonderful stars. We get stunning sunsets behind the downs, and a lot of bird song including owls at night. There is an ancient Norman church. However we are only 5 minutes from Lewes (approx 2 miles) with everything that has to offer.
