We are a family seaside holiday booking, able to sleep up to 4 adults and a further 2 children, making a total of up to 6 guests. Our non-smoking property can provide for the peaceful traditional seaside break, or the reliable family holiday base operating on a budget.

The space

We are located in a quiet corner of a small Kent seaside village within walking distance of the seafront, and minutes of seaside amenities, shops, and restaurants. We are also a few minutes walk from the main line railway station (direct line to London and Broadstairs). Many interesting and varied sights are easily reachable by car, train or bus.

Guest access

We are a whole house booking. During your stay the rooms will be made up according to the guest numbers you book.

Other things to note

The property has three bedrooms and can sleep up to four adults, with the last bedroom holding children's bunk beds, for a total of six guests.

Regarding wifi, there is no wifi at our property at present. We are looking for a cost effective solution to this that will allow us to keep our rental rates as they are, but unfortunately so far that has not been possible.

What we love about it is its very clean though its an old property which you won’t notice it . Its very close to the town though we didn’t go round the town because we we’re most of the time in Ramsgate. I could say its a lovely place to stay.

Great little break right by the sea, lovely walks from the doorstep and close to Margate for a bit of seaside action! We travelled with two young kids (1 and 5) and it proved a great space for them too.

Perfect location to visit the Thanet coast. House is exactly as described and was extremely homely. All my group thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We will definitely stay in the house again when visiting family

Great location very close to the coast. The house had everything we needed except WiFi. Stephen was a great host, replying to messages very quickly. I would visit this place again.

Thanks for your kind words Stan and Kathy. Can appreciate wifi is an issue. We're looking for cost effective solutions that'll avoid us raising rental rates.

Excellent value for money. A relatively spacious 3 bedroom house with modern kitchen, spacious Lounge -Diner and well decorated roomy bathroom. Extra downstairs toilet handy! Exceptionally clean and tidy upon arrival. Stephen was an excellent attentative host even though we never met. Set in a small housing development literally two minutes from the beach/promenade and 5- 10 minutes walk to Birchington cute town centre & station. Lots of useful shops and cafes to explore. Would recommend nearby Minnis Bay sandy beach plus the Brasserie there has great food. Bedrooms are 1 double, 1 twin and bunks. Currently no WiFi and signal weak meaning patchy 4G. This really is a relaxing"home from home" and perfect as both a base for exploring Kent or just chilling in and using as a getaway. Very good value for money.

We have a lovely family break in a great location! Shops within walking distance and very quiet and peaceful. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and good value for money. Some nice little touch's including milk, tea and biscuits left for our arrival.

Interaction with guests

Guests can arrive at the property independently of us, so no need to worry if your journey is delayed late into the night. However we are just around the corner from the property and easily reachable if you have need.
For guests staying longer than a week, we'll be in touch to arrange a change of bedding and towels.

About Stephen

I was born around these seaside villages and spent most of my young adult life here as well. The seaside and its wildlife and habitats is very much a part of me and I love to share that with others. We also have strong links to Japan where my other favourite environment, mountains, can be found in abundance!
I can speak English and Japanese, please feel free to enquire about our property using either language.
