Our place has very good public transport, the local bus stops at the house on request. For access to the Island the airport is 8 miles (Flybe/loganair) and the ferry terminal is 6.5 miles (Calmac).
You’ll love our place because of the neighbourhood, the light, the comfy bed, the kitchen, and the cosiness. We can accomodate couples, business travellers and families with children. Being a working croft, depending on time of year, all facets of crofting life can be seen first hand.
The house sits on a croft (small holding) which gives access to the beach, bring walking shoes. We have a fairly large garden which children enjoy playing in.
Feel free to wander wherever you like.
Interaction with guests
We live just across the road so we are available at all times to answer any queries you may have. We like to welcome our guests personally and try to help them plan their time in order to get the best experience from their stay and encourage interaction so that we can advise travellers in future.
Callum was born on the Island and spent most of his life at sea. Jan is a retired nurse. Callum's first language is gaelic but we both speak English. We both love the island and we appreciate anyone who wants to come and explore it, so we try to make a comfortable home from home for them to come back to in the evening
