Gitti and her family made me feel so welcome during my one week stay that I soon felt perfectly at home. I have stayed in quite a few Airbnbs so far, but this was definitely a rare and very memorable experience for me. All the animals made it even more unique, and to have an actual hawk among them was just true novelty. I slept really well on the comfortable mattress and enjoyed the quirkiness and magic of the upstairs loft, watching the stars as I was falling asleep. Communication was excellent and my late arrival was no problem. The central location is also perfect for exploring all of Pembrokeshire. Thank you again, Gitti!

Gitti was very welcoming, greeting us on arrival at the farmhouse. Travel directions provided in welcome email were of great help as the house is in a secluded location. Throughout our stay we were made to feel exceptionally welcome.

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend at Gitti’s farmhouse. The place is full of charm, authentic and quiet. It is surrounded by hills, woods and a river and is located in a conveniently central location not far from many attractions of Pembrokeshire coast. The house has a fireplace, a big kitchen with a patio overlooking sheep pasture, two horses, a cute dog, and even a hawk! Rooms are spacious and clean. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. They helped us to plan our stay in Wales (we really appreciated it as we did not prepare) and even offered to take us for a lovely walk in the area surrounding the farmhouse. Their suggestions of coastal walks were absolutely excellent and we had the most amazing experience visiting places they suggested. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Gitti!

Accoglienza stupenda il posto molto carino, con tanti animali molto simpatici (una fattoria). Però il bagno non è dipertinenza della camera e può a volte essere condiviso con troppe persone.

Response from Gitti:
Thank you for your warm words Roberto. I am sorry it was a bit hectic that day and more people needing the bathroom than usual. More often its not an issue, just everyone came in at once! We don't use the guest bathroom when we have guests, and we have preferred to keep big rooms and lots of shared space rather than making extra bathrooms which often are not needed. There are separate toilets, and we have huge family gatherings once a year (28 of us!) and it was not a problem with bathrooms! Very nice showing you and the boys the animals. Ciao

I am the mother of three children, one already travelling the world, another studying ready for travel, and my son still at home. I used to work at BBC Wales and came down to West Wales to lovely Pembrokeshire to bring up my young family around 20 years ago. I do NLP coaching/counselling one to one on for anyone struggling with any issues, blocks or relationships at work or home - which I love doing - and I have been a natural medicine practitioner with The Health Detectives working from Haverfordwest for 10 years. So if you need a health MOT while down here you can book well in advance of your visit.

We live on a beautiful 65 acre small holding in the centre of Pembrokeshire in easy striking distance to beautiful un-crowded sandy beaches and upland hills with views to the coast and even Snowdon on a clear day.

Experience a relaxing informal stay in our family farm house, with its exposed oak beams and light airy interior. A family bathroom with large bath and shower, and view over beautiful garden, and spaceous landing and conservatory, patio and terrace for space to relax and chat. Walks around the lovely woodland and fields full of sheep will make you really feel on holiday. Just be aware that a friendly little dog and harries hawk, and a couple of horses and cat will be around making the place more interesting, but if you have an allergy... you have been warned!

Up half a mile of secluded lane, just off the A40 Haverfordwest to Fishguard road, signposted Treffgarne, then first left by the little stone cottage - 'The Lodge' and up the lane. Slow down and enjoy the trees and view of the river meadow.. the occasional pot hole will help you go low and take in the relaxing surroundings. There may be people or animals on the lane so drive carefully please. We are a SatNav free zone, so just follow the easy directions. Lovely flowers along the lane depending on season.

By arrangement we may be able to provide supper - often including home grown veg from the poly tunnel. Plenty of parking in the yard. Also option for informal camping in the new woods by arrangement. If you want to bring a family or group of you let us know.

we have three bedrooms - a family room with double and space for 2 single mattresses, a double which could have an extra mattress, and a charming loft room with fairy tale balcony and ladder stairs made from our own ash and oak, leading into a fairy tale stencilled loft room with velux window, lovely for kids, and also a cozy double.

enjoyment of garden and grounds is encouraged but we probably would only agree to dogs by arrangement - as sheep may be a problem. Dogs on leads and all gates must be closed if they are closed when get to them. Whole herds of several hundred sheep can end up on the main road if you ignore this basic country rule.

Good walks from here - maps can be borrowed, for example up to Treffgarne and Woolfe's Castle rocks - hill top volcanic plugs with good views.

If you want to bring your horse on holiday we can put you and your horses up and there is some nice hacking out from here with common land, as well as an easy drive to the coast. Ring to discuss.

If we are able, you can arrange for special diets, and have smoothies / paleo/ dairy free etc. Bespoke holidays and retreats - and access to a variety of natural medicine and therapies if needed. Above all...peace and quiet and a good place to rest and take stock! We love nature and hope you will be drawn to us for the same reason! Also a really convenient place if you are coming from or going to Ireland, as we are just 15 mins drive from Fishguard ferry terminal . You could leave your car here if you want to be a foot passenger, and we can give lifts.

I speak pretty good conversational GERMAN, and very basic conversational FRENCH.
