6 acres/home on NE Ft Wayne/New Haven boundary in idyllic country setting. Guests have entire upper level for themselves with private bedroom and private bathroom. Just minutes from interstate, university, shopping and 20 minutes to downtown. Room features queen bed with lots of closet and bureau space.
Charming home with old-fashioned ambience. Abundant trees and vegetation all around. In the late 1990s this was a working agricultural farm. Train tracks are behind my house, interstate about a half a mile away. My neighbors consist of Amish farms behind me and agricultural farming along the property borders.
Although no cooking facilities are offered the guests are welcome to share part of the refrigerator. Feel free to explore the paths mowed in the forest or relax on the patio. Enjoy large sun room which overlooks forested backyard. Washing and drying for additional five dollars cost.
Interaction with guests
I am busy various times of the day teaching and playing classical music in and out of the house but I am happy to answer any questions or socialize if you wish. On occasion you may hear me teaching cello to one of my private students.
Other things to note
Regarding pets, we had pets in the house years ago. Mostly dogs. Currently there are no animals in the house.
- Absolutely no smoking in or around the property; that includes the driveway.
- Quiet hour please after 11pm
- Please discard any plastic or pop cans in recycling bins.
-This is a private home so please be courteous as I will also be for my guests.
I am by trade a professional classical musician. I also enjoy cooking and have published a celebrity classical musician's cookbook. I thoroughly enjoy socializing with people and revel in meeting people from other cultures and countries. Love living in nature; hope your experience in my Airbnb will be the same.
