My flat is in a residential street close to Preston Park (for Pride and other events). Brighton main railway station is a 10 minute walk and the centre of town about a 20 minute walk away. One of the best things about the flat is the location, with the Pavilion, the Laines (for excellent shopping) and the beach just a 20 minute walk. Gay and straight couples, singles or business travelers would be comfortable here. Three cats will help you relax. Expect tea and cake if I've been baking!
You have your own room, with access to the kitchen, bathroom and sitting room. You are welcome to use pots and pans, cutlery and crockery as long as you tidy up! There's an eating space in the sitting room and TV which you're welcome to use. I also have a garden with tables and chairs. Smokers can smoke in the garden but not in the flat.
Use of washing machine or dish washer is not included.
Other things to note
There are six steps up to the front door and the doorways are narrow, so may not be suitable for anyone with disabilities if they can't manage stairs.
- Three friendly, well-behaved cats live with me. If you're allergic, or don't like cats, this isn't the place for you!
My name is Catriona, but I'm known as Kate. I've lived in Brighton for 5 years. I love living near the sea and near all the bustle of central Brighton. I like to read and spend time with friends and cats.
