No internet in the mountain. No way to find the house. The altitude of the owner of the house is even worse than I imaged.

The cabin is lovely and we totally enjoyed our stay! The stars are so bright here! Mineral King (the road the house is on) was not super steep - our little car had no problem - but was definitely a challenging drive with its winding turns. Totally worth it though!

A perfect getaway for our anniversary weekend. No cellphone service so our hosts made sure to call and made sure we knew where we were going and how to check in. The cabin was adorable and cozy. We brought food to grill out. It was perfect for driving into sequoia national park for a couple days!

The cabin was very clean and kept up well. We did not realize it was so far from town and that there was no wifi. (Should have read the description better). We were a little nervous as we had to check on things back home and couldn't. (First world problems, I know). The drive is a bit scary if you haven't driven in the mountains before. A small road that barely fits two cars and no guardrail. The locals drive faster than my comfort so I just pulled over for them to pass. The water was hot on the first day in the shower but was cold for the next. We were leaving shortly, so we did not take the time to contact the owners. We were mostly in the Sequoia National Park (literally a few minutes from town) so it wasn't a big deal to us. If you go here, definitely brings books, games, etc to do, and plenty of food. If you want a very quiet and personal getaway, then this is the place for you.

Hello Rob Thanks for your stay with us, I just would like to respond to your concerns. You were nervous if you had to check on things at home You have instructions on your counter if you were to need anything or to use a land line to come to our house as cell phones do not work in the park and we border the park so you can come to our home which has a land line and is only a 3 min drive. The road is scary for you It is the road to sequoia national park and is a historical road if you want to go to the park you have to drive it. The locals drive to fast, chances are they are tourists as well and if they are locals it is out of our hands. The water was too hot and then cold Again you are more than welcome to come to our home and let us know and as you know there is someone who checks on the property 3 times a day who could have helped if you would have let us know as well as the white board on the shed to list your needs. Again thank you for your stay

Quaint little cabin located up a mountain with a great view (make sure your car is capable of driving up hill for a little while). Just enough space and was very nice to have a place where there weren't any distractions (no service or wifi). I'd definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a spot in the wilderness!
