In short if you'd like a clean, well equipped apartment this one is not for you. On the upside: - Daniel is a cool and helpful guy. - The place is in a quiet neighborhood (disregarding idiots with fast cars which seems to be a problem all across the city). - OK access to public transport. The easiest way to get to the city center is via the S-Bahn which is a 10 minute walk. You should be able to get to anywhere in the center in less than 45 minutes. On the downside: - Dust. So much dust. I have a moderate allergy but could not exist without medication. Worst is that trivial things were not cleaned. Like bed cover and carpet which you only would need to put in a washing machine. I shook them in the window and the dust cloud was unbelievable. Would not place anything on the shelves before cleaning them myself. - The second disappointment was the equipment. Clearly no one tried living here for a longer period. No trash can, no soap, no wall sockets in the bathroom as it's occupied by the light (that's right, you decide whether you want to shave or see yourself in the mirror), etc. All in all it's cheap but to me it wasn't worth it.

Our stay there was very pleasant. Everything was as we expected them to be. It was a bit away of the city centre (20-25 mins with the subway), but close to the station. The host was really friendly and our communication was perfect. It was one of the cheapest apartment in Hamburg. The only con that the house didn't have any towels.

Daniel's place was my first home when moving to Hamburg and it perfectly fitted my needs. Its a small studio with a bathroom and small kitchen, but enough to cook simple meals for a person. Having a work desk was pretty convenient as well. Location its pretty good. A quiet residencial area with easy access for the central area. Shops and supermarkets are close on a convenient distance. Daniel is a nice guy and communication was always perfect.

I spent in this unit 3 nights. Communication with Daniel was just great, he was punctual, polite, easy-going and explained everything one needs. Flat is located on top floor of old corridor-type building, looks like ex-campus. The building is in 12-15 minutes by foot from nearest s-station, doesn't have elevator. This is the smallest apartment I have ever seen, the total size I would estimate as ~20 m2. Super-tiny kitchen, okay-size bathroom. It actually has everything I needed, very ascetic and not super clean though. The biggest advantage the apartment has - it is super quiet, I was able to sleep without any problems and disturbance every day until 11 am, and I have very sensitive sleep.

Very convenient location, close to the park, a bus stop nearby, takes about 30 minutes to get to Hbf. Area is quiet. The apartment is best suited for one person, the overall area is about 25m^2. Daniel is very responsive, had no problems getting and returning the key.
