My home is in a beautiful neighborhood with a fantastic location - just 15-20 mins from everything: Beaches, attractions, Tampa, Clearwater, St Pete & airports. We have a "split roommate" floorplan (2 diff sides), **so you'll have guest side the house to yourself.**

*Enjoy a comfy guest room & bath* with a queen bed, TV/Roku, desk, WiFi, fridge, microwave, coffee/tea maker, snacks, screened-in porch & pool, off-street parking, a safe, peaceful atmosphere, keyless entry & a calm dog to pet.

The space
Immerse yourself in nature! I live on a woods preserve and you'll be surrounded by plants, pets, backyard chickens, palm trees, and privacy. Quiet, clean, and extremely close to everything!

-Private room and bath down its own hallway, away from the main part of the home, right off the entrance. Keypad lock to come and go as you please.
-Bedroom is equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tea maker, kitchen items, and utensils.
-TV, Roku (Netflix, etc), desk and chair. Ceiling fan, extra fan, space heater, blankets, and pillows.
-The bed is a quality, supportive memory foam mattress and soft, cooling mattress topper.
-The bathroom has a bath/shower. Hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soaps.
-There are no stairs and everything has wide flat access.
-Well lit. Doors lock. House has security. Quiet neighborhood, driveway parking.
-I clean EVERYTHING top to bottom and always have...from remote controls to light switches, the office chair to the bed frame. I've traveled for a living and hotels always freaked me out with "selective cleaning." I use a duvet cover instead of a comforter and wash ALL bedding with each guest.

If you like being near to everything yet feeling far away from it, surrounded by palm trees, flowers, plants, roaming backyard chickens and my own sweet Maine Coon cat (hypoallergenic breed), then this may be your refreshing getaway.

*Large guest room with queen bed (memory foam mattress and fluffy "cooling" topper), newly renovated bathroom with tub.

*Amenities: Coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, tea maker, Netflix/Hulu, WiFi.

3-5 minutes from the BMX park. (Gator Nationals)
Walking distance to Neilsen.
The Oldsmar Trail is right by the house, which is a beautiful walking trail.
Large, beautiful parks and small beaches are 5 minutes away.
10-15 mins from Honeymoon Island Beach, Caladesi Island and Indian Rocks Beach.
20+ mins from Clearwater Beach (And the Aquarium: Winter & Hope).
20 minutes from Tampa Airport.
15 mins from St Pete Airport.

My place is perfect for the solo traveler or couple looking for a peaceful night's rest after galavanting all over Tampa Bay, visiting relatives, or attending work conventions. My location is central to Tampa, St. Pete & Clearwater...all the beaches, attractions, and amazing things to do and visit.

Other things to note
The house is near a forest preserve. Despite being right off busy Tampa road, you'll feel like you're far away from noise, clutter, and cities. Down the street is just about every conceivable restaurant and shop one could want access to.

We're not only central to Tampa, Clearwater & St. Pete, but also Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, Largo, Westchase, Town 'n' Country, Citrus Park and a lot of other small surrounding areas.

Welcome to Tampa Bay! I just landed here myself 10 years ago and fell in love with the area. There is so much to do...or nothing at all. Both work out really well. :) I'm a life-long film, music, and pop culture nerd, owned by a very needy Corgi, and love growing my own food & flowers. I'm a writer and own a small organic soy candle & artisan soap business. I enjoy meeting people and have traveled all over the world for work (staying in some "interesting" accommodations at times!) so I understand what it's like to want a place that's comfortable, peaceful and convenient. I'm here if you need me, but after settling you in, I tend to let people have their space and privacy. I have half a house available on the other side of the structure with a very comfortable bedroom and bathroom down its own hallway. 5 Things I Can't Live Without (and neither should you): 1. coffee 2. coffee 3. coffee 4. coffee 5. a good bed with a great mattress - and plenty of pillows. English is my first language, but I speak some ASL & Spanish. I also know a (very!) limited amount of French, German and Japanese. I used to travel a lot - there was no choice but to learn if I wanted food!
