The space

We love art and places some pieces you hope you will enjoy. The cottage is quiet and a good place to relax.

Guest access

You have is a parking space available and a private access to the cottage. Outdoor lighting is motion activated so your won't be walking up the stairs in the dark.

Interaction with guests

My husband, Earl, and I live in the front of the house with a breezeway and 2 garages separating us. You will be given all the privacy you desire. San Marcos has been our stomping grounds for many years and would be glad to share places to eat, see and enjoy in this area. All you need to do is ask. If we are away, our cohost, Pamela, lives two blocks away

Wonderful stay! The cottage is so quaint and in the perfect location. I had the best time staying here and Dorothy and Pamela were the best! Thank you both for allowing me to stay!

This is truly a home away from home. All the amenities and comforts form home and then some. I will stay here every time I visit San Marcos. They even stock the place with snacks!! Recommend this %110

This is absolutely the best airbnb we have stayed at so nice and clean and the bed was more comfortable then the one I have at my house she always answer any questions needed but didn't have many at all because she left papers all around explaining everything very helpful she even had a extra supplies just incase you forgot something and snacks! But don't over do it cause it will make it stop lol but also a key note I really liked was the shower head most places you go it's crappy shower heads hers was awesome might be because I'm a plumber and recognize them things but I was very impressed with the hole trip will definitely be coming back to stay here next time we are in town

Wonderful accommodations! So nice to have the coziness of a home as an alternative to noisy hotels. Thanks Dorthy!

I attended Southwest Texas University( now Texas State University) in the mid 70's. I just love the Texas Hill Country. San Marcos has been my home or the place I always love to be for the past 40 years.
