Our beach condo is close to the beach, family-friendly activities, and public transport. You’ll love this spot because of the neighborhood and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).

Jennifer was super responsive to my questions about her place ahead of our stay and her condo was just right for our off-season beach weekend! It was close enough to the beach to take the restless toddler on a quick walk there while the the babies napped (we were 4 adults, 1 todd…
Three of us had a good time at Jennifer's condo. Our main goal was finding a place to rent by the night, so it delivered on that. The house is a bit on the older side, including all of the furnishings. A lot of the floors are uneven which may be a problem for the young or old. Ad…

Thank you for your review. I will try to address your comments. Typical OCNJ rentals do not provide amenities like Airbnbs in other areas. I have often considered providing the little things, but in this price range it is a challenge. The beach tags are quite a costly perk. I did not inherit anything, especially real estate! That would be so nice !!! We have worked very hard to earn a chance to invest our money in a town as lovely as OC, and your feelings about us are incorrect...we are not beneficiaries as you suggested. I really pay attention to the pricing of rentals in the area and try to be fair to families like mine. I really want people to be able to enjoy the beach at a fair price. We are close to the beach and have three bedrooms and two baths...I have calculated all of that when considering price. The settling of the pilings beneath the house is not as severe as suggested; we are older and do not have a problem. We actually have had many small children stay as well as a 90 year old winter tenant that was 100% safe in our home. We do not have a location close to the downtown/boardwalk area and find that most of our tenants know the area and choose the south end to be away from the bustle of town. If you were not aware of the island before renting and wanted to be up there, perhaps there are affordable family spots there for you next year. To be fair, our house rent is not expensive at all. Our furnishings were there when we purchased the house last year and we continue to work hard to replace things as we can. Everything is in good and working condition and the beds are brand new as well as the heat/AC unit. We continue to add things like patio furniture, TVs etc. We are hoping to continue to this trend for years to come. We live in the house, too, after all. The house rules are for us as well as future tenants. We simply ask that guests consider others when making themselves at home in our condo. We have experienced some tenants that simply did not care and our requests reflect lessons we have learned along the way. Being a landlord has taught us a lot about being pro-active and making sure people understand how important our home is to us. I was offended by some of your comments, and hope that you understand why. Some judgments were made that are simply incorrect. Again, thank you for staying and feedback is always valuable to us.
