Location is ideal for anyone that wants to be in the heart of the city without having the hassle of using public transit. Walking distance to Old Montreal, where you can visit Notre-Dame Basilica, stroll along St. Paul street & browse local boutiques and or grab a bite at several of Montreal best restaurants or bars. If checking out Montreal architecture, museums or visiting Mont Royal is more your thing, then you are in walking distance (20-30min) away but also accessible by metro in (5) minutes if walking isn't your thing. Shopping district, Theater District (place des arts) and Chinatown is also in walking distance or by metro (3-5min ride).
The village also features many "bring your own wine" restaurants, local bars and a few night clubs. There are also a few boutiques or coffee shops to relax in after a day of touring. The village also has two beautiful parks, Place Émilie-Gamelin which is located at Berri & St. Catherine and parc Alexandre DeSeve which is located across the street.
