The Cottage in the Pines is located in a forest near the Delaware River, close to Bethel Woods, Forestburg Playhouse, and the Catskill Mountains. It has a large shady back porch and sun room, and a kitchen you can use. Relax after a day of paddling. This is a queen bedroom with a private bath and shower

The room is in a beautifully restored bungalow home on a family estate that has been used as a B and B, saw mill, and homestead for over 100 years.

Lynn and her property were both delightful. The cottage is so beautifully decorated and the back porch just perfect for a morning cup of tea, afternoon read, or late night conversation. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and new (and Lynn's home is also wheelchair accessible!) She's put such thought into this property and you can tell. Lynn's was so on top of communication and answering questions and so helpful when I asked about hikes around the area. She also showed me around the rest of her property including plans for renovating another house and a mill. Plus her dog was adorable! I would definitely stay here again.

Lynn User ProfileLynn is a superhost.

I love finding old buildings and bringing them back to life. I have revived: a 1848 log cabin school house, a 1791 colonial dutch land grant house, a 12'x26' boathouse and currently an abandoned family estate among others. I love project where I can learn new skills, currently working with sawyers, dredgers and millwrights! I am passionate about my family and friends and love NYC as much as the small villages and wild side of Upstate NY.

My motto is "the best project is a done project" but it's not done until it's the best I can do.
