Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The location is convenient to NCSU, Meredith College, Peace University, Ralston Arboretum, Museums and historic sites in downtown, to the Raleigh Greenway and NC Art Museum. The bedroom is upstairs so a little climbing is involved. It is peaceful and quiet, on 3 acres of land with trails leading to creeks and a waterfall, adjacent a nature park in the heart of Raleigh.
The house was built in 1932 and is on 3 acres of land with a creek and waterfall. Wildlife, woodlands and cultivated gardens are abundant. Guests are amazed that such a home can exist so close to downtown!

The Golden Rule is the best rule. Please be respectful of the home and property.
I am a musician! A teacher, songwriter and recording artist for many years. There is always music in the house! Also, historic preservation is dear to both Bill and myself, working to save lighthouses in NC, historic sites and properties. We both love being outdoors, hiking and outdoor projects. We like to travel and meet new people. Broadening our experiences through different cultures is a wonderful education. I love gardening and growing edibles: vegetables, fruits and herbs. We are vegetarians and love animals. Bill loves collecting. Together we have built a unique and eclectic oasis here in Raleigh.
