My place is close to 20 minutes south of Elkhart Lake and Road America. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the comfy bed, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The Blue Cobb House is about 15 minutes from Kohler-Andrae State Park and 30 minutes from Harrington Beach State Park. The Kettle Moraine area is just to our west and it is filled with hiking trails.

After reading Jewel's great reviews I wondered if we would agree with expectations so high. We did. Everything about her place was lovely... spacious, spotless, with everything and more that a guest could want or need. We especially enjoyed watching a dvd by the fireside. We highly recommend the Blue Cobb House. Thanks Jewel!

The Perfect over night stay for our family of 5. I booked our stay last minute on the way north for a funeral. We arrived late; Jewel was waiting ,met us and welcomed us with all the porch lights on. She gave us a quick tour and let us settle in for the night. My husband and the two older kids slept in the King bed and I slept on the pullout with our toddler. It was surprisingly super comfortable for a pullout. The kids made a giant freaking mess with popcorn (sorry! We attempted to pick up as much as we could before we left) while they watched a movie from the large dvd selection. I am a clean freak and this place was wonderfully spotless. It had no signs of previous occupancy. The kitchen was nice and had most amenities if you decided to cook. It was thoughtful of Jewel to leave us yogurts and a coffee cake for breakfast. We met Jewel's husband Jan. He is a dairy farmer. My husband works on water well at a lot if dairy farms so him and Jan talked for a bit. I liked that Jan had muddy work boots on and a muddy truck. It shows these are real people who work hard. Thank you for your hospitality !

It was our first airbnb experience and we weren't disappointed. The location was away from traffic and noise on a beautiful street that had a wonderful view of the countryside. The apartment was spacious and had a fully stocked kitchen with supplies. Jewel had a variety of beverages and snacks available to us as well. She also had any toiletry necessary if you forgot something. She served a scrumptious french toast breakfast in the morning that she delivered to us on a tray with fruit and organic syrup. Our stay was relaxing and definitely better than any hotel that we could have stayed at in the area. We would love to visit again. Jewel's place is not to be missed.

I am interior designer and I give the decor a 5 star rating! The bedding and mattress is 5 star too!! WOW!! I was recovering from a traumatic experience and the hospitality of the extra touches such as the refrigerator being stocked with cheese, yogurt, juices, etc, fresh apples, tea and coffee available, tons of extra bathroom items were just a few of the many wonderful touches that made you feel so special. You do not get this type of service at hotels!!! I love the "sharing culture" of staying and paying a local family for your own guest house rather than paying the same amount to a big hotel chain for one bedroom, no kitchen! I love the sharing and caring for each other. This is what touches me the most now that I only travel via AirBNB wherever I go!! You are more cared for and you exchange more than money!!! All the other great reviews are 100% accurate!!

My husband and I as well as our ten-year-old son stayed here for two nights, and we highly recommend it! The hosts were very welcoming, and the place was very clean and well-maintained. Although this was only our first AirBnB experience, I cannot imagine that all the perks and extra touches Jewel provided are common across the network. The fridge stocked with drinks, the selection of movies, the heated floors, the selection of books, the cupboard with snacks... I could go on. Our son really appreciated the hammock. One of the things in particular that I also enjoyed was taking an early morning stroll around town. A very peaceful community. In nearby Oostburg, check out the Oostburg Bakery and Judi's Place. Given the opportunity, we would definitely come back to the Blue Cobb House.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Jewel is the sweetest, most accommodating host ever! Some of the previous reviews said she's thought of everything, well she really has!! She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. And the breakfast...WOW!!! What a treat!! Caramel Pecan French Toast, homemade blueberry muffins and fresh fruit - AMAZING!! This was the perfect little getaway and we can't wait to go again!! Thank you for everything Jewel!!!
