Guest access

The roof is accessible to guests for smoking.

Interaction with guests

I use Keycafe to make key pick up more convenient and flexible for checking in. About us: We're a friendly, and easy-going couple. Samer is a doctor/musician and I (Irma) am a mother, barista and dance teacher. Ask me for recommendations in Williamsburg, ask Samer anything about Manhattan.

Other things to note

The subway train is directly in front of the building. This is extremely convenient for speedy travel to Manhattan but some people may be hyper sensitive to the train noise. You can read the reviews to get an idea of how people felt about the sound level. I provide a sleep mate noise cancelling machine which can help if you need it. However, If you are a light sleeper, I do not recommend that you book with us.

Irma had gone out of her way to make the children & me feel welcome. The apartment was spacious & clean. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. As it is so conveniently located for the subway, the trains are a bit noisy at night but it wasn't a problem. A great base for exploring the city.

Great find, this. Big, clean, comfortable, homely space - a generously proportioned apartment by NY standards, and all to myself, for the same price as a room in Manhattan - which couldn't be closer to Marcy Av subway station if it tried. Not the prettiest location but who goes all the way to New York to look out of their apartment window? It's a lovely place to come back to after a long day, though, and while I didn't meet Irma, she conveyed clear instructions and good vibes via text. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We had a great time in NY staying at Irma's. It was so easy to get in and out of Manhattan with the steps to the train next to the front door. Awesome location and a large and tidy apartment with plenty of amenities! Would stay here again! We even got our own choice of coffee from Irma!

My stay at Irma's place was great! The apartment is in very close proximity to the subway station, and I was able to get to and from manhattan with ease. There is some noise overnight due to the subway being so close however this wasn't an issue for me (especially after the first night). The apartment was very clean, and the bed was super confortable! Irma communicated well throughout and was very caring and attentive. I would recommend Irma's place to people wanting to stay in Williamsburg. Thanks for a great stay :)

Irma's place felt like home. After being out and about in the city it felt nice to take the train ride home and have to walk only a few steps to get to her place. Her place was super clean, it was everything I expected. I was concerned about the metro station being so close in regards to the noise, but honestly after the first night my friend and I easily drained the noise out. I would definitely book Irma's place again. Irma was very attentive and caring and I really appreciate that.

The apartment was very well furnished, very clean, full of amenities and cozy. Irma is a fantastic host, she provided very detailed instructions on how to get the keys and was always available for help by phone. Unfortunately the apartment's windows are right in front of the metro rails on Broadway: it could get noisy even at night, both because of trains and street traffic.

Who likes bios? I don't so here's just a random list of facts about me: I was born and raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I am a single mom of two Marvel geek sons that dress like super heroes almost daily. I'm a barista--and a coffee lover. I'm also a dancer & dance teacher (Egyptian & Turkish styles) hence the enormous mirror in my living room. I'm hosting to support my family of three.
