The space

From this very central yet private and quiet location you are close to restaurants, groceries, trails and a lot more but you will feel like your miles away from all the busyness. You will have the most amazing views of the surrounding mountains including spectacular sunsets while overlooking the horse farm across the street. In the evenings Whistling Rails is the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking, skiing or doing absolutely nothing:) The house is good for couples, families (with kids) and business travellers. Owners occupy lower suite of home and can be easily accessed for any questions or assistance.

Guest access

Guests have access to the upper level of the home which contains 2 bedrooms with one queen bed in the master and 2 double beds in the second bedroom, 2 full baths, a large living room, kitchen, and laundry facilities. Additionally, guests have a private entrance, parking for 2 vehicles, and a large private deck with seating for 6 and a ready to use propane BBQ. On the lower level of the home, guests also have access to a fire pit, upon request. Please note that fires are not permitted during fire bans and the trampoline and playhouse are not accessible to guests.

Hugo and Tess have gone to great lengths to create a comfortable home to return to especially after a long day spent in the outdoors. They were very communicative and responded quickly whenever I had questions. Everything a guest would need is provided. The patio is the ideal spot to sit out and have a cup of coffee while enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains. I highly recommend this place to other travelers.

If you're ever near Pemberton, you have to stay here! The place was clean, spacious, well decorated, and a walkable distance to groceries, liquor stores, and local restaurants. After a long day hike at Joffre Lakes (30 min drive), we grilled out on the back porch watching the beautiful Mt Curie. It was easy to cook meals with a kitchen fully stocked with various cooking ware. Hugo and Tess offered easy, quick communication through Airbnb messaging and provided a convenient self check in process.
