Deborah’s home was a really convenient and cozy place for me and my friends to stay while we explored the Mt. Hood area, just a 5 minute drive from the town’s coffee shops, and a half hour drive to some great hiking!

The photos on this posting do not do this cabin justice. What a great little slice of the mountain. Houses were close together, but the backyard was awesome, and the loft was a cool touch.

This cabin is so very cozy, with the wood-paneled walls and crotcheted blankets. And the surroundings, with the thick moss-covered trees, and the creek running through the back, made me feel like a woman living in solitude despite their being other houses close by. The wood-burni…

I do not enjoy writing this negative review, and I struggled with it. However, others should know what they are getting into with this place. The primary concern here is that our children (6 and 8) found a bag of Marijuana in the loft sitting in plain sight. Before that, I climbe…

Response from Deborah:
Thank you for your review and concerns. Naturally, we take all feedback seriously and I appreciate you taking the time to comment. As it is unfortunate that marijuana was found in the sleeping quarters, it is a legal amenity in Oregon and was unfortunately left behind by a previous guest. It is the same as if someone left a bottle of wine or liquor there. It was missed by housekeeping and has been brought to their attention. I hope you put it somewhere safe or disposed of safely. As stated in my access info, if there are any issues or questions, I am immediately available via text or phone. I did not hear from you the entire weekend and had to hear about your concerns after your stay. In the future, for future hosts, we do appreciate immediate communication from guests so that we may offer remedies immediately. I have already taken up the cleaning issues with my housekeeper. Please know that we are a rustic cabin, as stated in the description, and are dog/pet friendly so if you have allergies, for future, know that a resort or more modern build might be better for you and your family. This is an authentic 70's cabin and, yes, all of the furnishings are from the 70's. We update as necessary, but this is the appeal of the particular place. I'm sorry that you did not have a good experience with our slice of heaven and I do appreciate your feedback very much. Please give Airbnb another try - we do want you to have the best experience.

Great little cabin right down the road from Mt Hood. Warm and cozy with a great surrounding area. A little secluded but still a 5 minute drive to the Grocery store.

We are native Oregonians who love our little cabins in the woods. Being next to the Sandy river & Minikahda creek is enchanting and calming. We invite you to spend time at our cabins to get away, reconnect with family, or hang your touk after a day of skiing & snowboarding. The h…
