The space is located in the heart of Carroll Gardens, 2 short blocks from the F & G train.
The neighborhood is clean, safe and community oriented. It is known for it's brownstones and beautiful gardens. There are lots of great places to eat and cocktail only steps away. The commute to Manhattan is only 15 minutes by train. It's a great place to experience "real" Brooklyn.
Below the apartment is a popular local dive bar with great music, drinks and Brooklyn locals. Some nights you can hear the bass of the music playing downstairs. The room is equipped with an air conditioner unit which helps drown out most of the sound. Some nights we hear nothing and some nights, mostly weekends, we hear a little ruckus. The noise is pretty standard for a first floor up apartment on a bustling street in NYC. If you are bothered by the sounds of the city or a really light sleeper, this may not be the space for you. During the daytime and afternoon it's very quiet and peaceful.
You'll have full access to the entire apartment. The spaces include shared common area, kitchen, bathroom and private terrace.
Interaction with guests
Me and my partner Casey live in the space. We are always on the go and working every day on the weekdays. In the weekends we like to spend time in the terrace or bring guests along to trips around the city.
Other things to note
This is a first floor walk-up with no wheelchair accessibility.
