I am really sorry to had such a rough time in Casa Beati Paoli but above all I am almost shocked by the way you described the place, ‘offending’ the neighborhood which in its particular way hosted you for the time you spent in Palermo.
I am not going to waste my time answering to your angry review, also because I believe that smart people will take the opportunity to read other 194 reviews written by the people who obviously, you’ll be sorry to hear it, don’t agree with you.
But it’s a matter of taste, I understand and feel sorry for you!
The only thing I do care to answer to you is regarding ‘ the unsafe neighborhood’, because that’s something I really care about emphasizing: Casa Beati Paoli is positioned behind the Cathedral in the Old Town, World heritage Site, the area full of extremely friendly and generous local people who make it the safest place on earth to be in! Sorry you believed and heard differently!
And the last and not the least, I would advice you to treat other people’s homes (if not hotels, with more respect next time), because the way you left my home was obscene, we even had to throw away the towels- impossible to be washed!
Sorry about that, too... but for you! I won’t’ get poorer because you are unable to use the towels in a civilized way!
and remember that Travelling also means meeting people with different customs and habits, they might look rough to you but for sure they are not more dangerous and angry than you are! Good luck!!!
