I wish the room was air conditioned.

Response from Laura:
It was in the room in the closet all along :)- you simply roll it out on wheels and it's portable/ sits on the floor/ ventless.

Overall, had communication not broken down this would have been a good stay. However, there were issues. Circumstances left me looking for a hotel at 930PM and paying for 5 nights stay which I didn't get to use. In the posting I specifically chose to stay here because there were pictures of plentiful plants, being as I keep a plethora of green life in my own home this drew me in. Unfortunately, there were absolutely no plants inside the house upon arrival which was a let down. At first things were fine & Laura was a sweetheart but after a few days I couldn't help but shake the feeling that my stay was merely a means to an end. The bed was tiny (twin) and very much uncomfortable but I made due with it being as I had paid in full beforehand. While I was there the room had no form of A/C but, again, thankfully it was in the 50s at night so I just opened the windows. I had brought my bicycles with me,which i communicated before my arrival, and we had made an agreement to put them in the garage but they didn't fit. So we then verbally agreed that i could store my bikes in the basement, so i put my bikes and a small collection of related tooling in the corner out of the way. Things were fine for a few days besides when the indoor cat would charge at me down the stairs as i came up, a small nuisance which Laura seemed to believe was my fault. I digress, late one evening after a day riding I received a direct message asking for me to remove my bikes come Sunday (this was Thursday) which I didnt see until after i had put my bike back up in the basement. So I figured they were fine but Laura saw this as an offensive and became confrontational and essentially asked me to leave. I wasn't about to argue being as this situation was already uncomfortable, I packed my stuff & got out. This may be a fluke situation but it made for a bad night.I wouldn't stay again.

a charming older home with a cozy bedroom on third floor, and private bath on second. easy parking and comfortable feel. Laura is a great host; good communication, thoughtful, and even provided fruit and asked what I liked!
