Brussels airport is a 15 minute train ride away from Leuven train station, which in turn is a 15 minute walk away from our place. From the house, you'll walk just 5 minutes to the newly developing part of town (3 popular bars/restaurants), the AB-InBev world headquarters, and 10 minutes to the old city center with its countless bars and restaurants. In the house, you’ll love the functionality and the beds (single beds are new!). Good for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids).
A kitchenette is available in your unit so breakfast is not included by default but if a prepared meal (breakfast, dinner,....) is a big thing for you, we'll be happy to accommodate your wishes as well as we can at a reasonable charge. If you let us know what you want we'll talk about it.
The second and third floor will be entirely yours. The door in the hallway downstairs is the only access and you will get the key. Even though you won't have access to the first floor, we'll be there only occasionally. Chances are you will be the only one in the house for most if not all of the time.
Interaction with guests
We don't live in the house anymore but are literally just 2 minutes away. Means we are right by to help without taking away from your privacy.
- The house is not new but has seen its improvements in recent years: new roof and new windows. Helps to insulate from street sounds and to keep the heat inside during winter time. During summer time the muskito screens help to let in fresh air and keep out flies/muskitos.
- We have traveled large parts of the worlds ourselves and are now happy to host guests from all over the world.
- The place has two bedrooms which sleep four people in total. In exceptional cases, the living room can sleep one or even two extra people (at an extra charge). Keep in mind though that the table seats only four (not six). Silverware and plats are available for six.
We are a family of three. We have lived abroad and have travelled quite a bit but are living back in Belgium now. We are happy to host travellers from all over the world and make them feel at home away from home.
Five things I can't live without? My OneWheel and unicycle would be high on the list. Books about the mind-body link. A good conversation..
