Welcome to the quiet side of Mount Desert Island! A breathtaking view of western mountain awaits you at our family/pet friendly cottage . 10 minutes to Long Pond, Seal Cove Pond, hiking trails and the pristine Algerine coastline. 15-20 minutes to Bass Harbor lighthouse, Wonderland, Ship Harbor, and Seawall picnic area. 25 minutes to main entrance of Acadia national park and Bar Harbor. Lots of local restaurants… Mini golf… And many mountains and lakes to explore. All bedrooms equipped with AC!

The space
Spacious 3 bedroom home with queen bed in one room/ Full bed in second room and 2 twin beds in third. All bedrooms are now equipped with air conditioning units! Full kitchen to prepare meals if you wish as well as outdoor propane grill. Small living room and large family room equipped with Roku TV’s to stream your favorite platforms, as well as Nintendo Wii/DVD players with selection of movies and games.

Guests can enjoy the entire home to themselves. Lots of local mountains, lakes and beaches to enjoy. Some local food spots include Quiet side Snacks, Thurstons Lobster, Archie’s , Seafood Ketch, Charlottes Legendary Lobster Pound, and many more.
