I stayed at this AirBnB for 10days, and had an amazing experience. I didn't have a lot of expectations prior since it was my first time going to Chennai after 7yrs and AirBnB is fairly new in India, I believe, but I was positively surprised and impressed with how my stay turned out.
I travelled alone, so it was important for me and my family that I stay in a safe area and this AirBnB is in a very safe area of the city and is located close to where the government officials live, so there is a lot of cops around and area is well maintained by the city. Especially if you are a female traveling alone, this is the perfect place for you.
I had my own private bedroom and bathroom and had full privacy. There is a balcony attached to your room, and I enjoyed going there every morning to hear the sounds of nature while drinking coffee. The house and my room was very clean, and a maid came every morning to clean and make the bed. If you need to wash your clothes, there is a washer you can use, but your clothes have to be dried on the clothesline in the balcony - it won't take too long to dry, though, so don't worry.
As a courtesy, I would let Geetha aunty know when you are leaving and returning back to the house. You do get your own key to the house, so you can leave and enter at any time - just be mindful about noises in the night, since the aunty lives there too.
Geetha aunty is an amazing host. She is very sweet, caring, and her cooking is heavenly. She makes coffee/tea and breakfast for the guests every morning and I truly appreciated and enjoyed that. For a small additional cost, she will make you yummy dinner every night, and I highly recommend that you take advantage of that.
Overall, I felt at home staying at this AirBnB and have no complaints about my stay here. I would highly recommend this place to others and come back and stay here when I make another trip.
