The space
Tucked away where open countryside meets tranquil woodland, our thoughtfully designed shepherd’s hut offers an elegant escape into nature. Every element of your stay has been carefully considered to ensure both comfort and ease, creating the perfect environment to rest, recharge and reconnect.

Inside, the hut features a cosy double bed with crisp linens and fluffy towels, a kitchen equipped with all essentials and a modern bathroom with a spacious shower cabin. A foldable dining table lets you enjoy intimate meals inside, while outside, your private hot tub and firepit provide peaceful spaces to unwind beneath the stars.

As part of our intimate retreat, you’ll also have access to a collection of wellness amenities designed to enhance your connection to the outdoors. Immerse yourself in the invigorating natural plunge pool, nestled within the landscape and perfect for a refreshing dip, or relax deeply in the nearby sauna. These facilities are shared with no more than two other guests staying in the nearby pyrapod, ensuring a calm and spacious experience.

For those who wish to balance stillness with gentle activity, a volleyball net is available on-site — an inviting way to stretch, play, and enjoy the fresh countryside air. A volleyball and badminton rackets with shuttlecocks are available in the large plastic storage box by the pond. Simply enjoy and place them back in the box once finished.

Whether you are soaking, exploring woodland trails, or just sitting quietly by the fire, this is a place where nature invites you to slow down and feel fully at ease.

Additional Notes:

The shepherd’s hut is fully insulated and equipped with underfloor heating, making it a cosy retreat year-round.

Private parking is available on-site.

The retreat is adults-only, designed to offer a quiet, restorative experience for couples and solo travellers.

For the safety and comfort of all guests, dogs are welcome at the retreat but are not permitted in the plunge pool.

Security cameras are in place on-site, overlooking the wood garage and driveway to the cottage, for added safety and peace of mind.

If you plan to use high-consumption electrical items (such as hairdryers or irons), kindly check with the host beforehand — due to the nature of the site’s electrical supply, certain appliances may cause the power to trip.
