This completely private, small stylish studio is set at the front of a classic Victorian terrace, in the delightful inner London riverside area of Putney Wandsworth. It has its own ensuite shower and toilet, kitchenette, and comfortable pull-out sofa bed. Within 5 minutes you'll find riverside cafes, delis and restaurants, one with a pontoon right on the river! Riverside ferry 5 min walk. 3 stops by train to Waterloo. 24H city bus 3 min walk. No common spaces, the place is your own!

The space

Located in the delightful inner London residential riverside area of Putney Wandsworth in zone 2, the Studio is just 14 minutes by train into Central London (Waterloo or Victoria). Within a 2 minute walk is a 24H bus that takes you directly to the Tate Gallery, Westminster Abbey, and Trafalgar Square (takes 35min to get back in the evening, runs every 10 min). The District Line tube (stopping at Sloane Square, Westminster, Embankment) is 11-12m away.

The Studio (small but functional!) combines a living and dining area that easily converts into a bedroom at night, while the sofa bed is a quick thirty-second pull-out with comfortable cushion base. There is a microwave/ convection oven/grill, toaster, 1-plate induction stove top, kettle, sink, and fridge freezer as well as cooking facilities for a light meal, while the 42' flatscreen sits above the Victorian fireplace, with a full satellite programme including free movies on demand and sports.

Free high-speed 200mg/s unlimited wireless wifi is included in the price, , as are high quality Egyptian cotton sheets and towels. Two tables and 2 chairs are available for dining.

I also provide tea and coffee as well as initial supplies of toilet paper, kitchen roll, and dishwashing liquid.

A washing bucket is provided, and clothes can be dried on a hanging rack that sits on the large radiator. For longer stays, a laundry service is provided on request, subject to availability.

A few minutes' walk away is the river Thames, a tree-lined riverside park, three excellent riverside restaurants, grocery shopping, and several pubs, while the charming and lively Old York Road restaurant and cafe district is a 7 minute walk away. Staying here, away from the tourist crowds, will give you the impression of living an authentic London life.

I had a great stay at Angela's, even though we do not meet communication and checkin were seamless. The room is very small and when first arriving I wasn't sure how it was going to work but the room turned out to be perfect for my boyfriend and I. Angela has been very thoughtful with the use of the space. The sofa bed was really comfortable and a good size for two people. The bathroom was modern with a good shower and the kitchen was really well equipped despite being so small. Surprisingly we were able to cook quite happily and found everything we needed. Wifi was also good and the road was quiet which made for peaceful sleeping, which isn't always the case in London. The room is cosy and made the perfect base for our stay.

We stayed at Angela's place for nearly a week while visiting London, and whilst the studio room is small and compact, it had everything we could possibly need and was well thought out. Angela is a great host and gave us more than enough detail about everything to do with the studio as well as places to visit and how to get around London. There are some great places to visit in the area or a short bus or train ride will get you closer to the city. The area is quite and it felt safe enough to walk around at night. We couldn't fault anything about our stay at Angela's studio and would recommend others to stay there!

My parents came for the first time to London and they really enjoyed the place. It is big enough for 2 people and Angela provided everything they could need. The location is very convenient as the shopping center is just 5 min walking and Wandsworth Town station is 10 min away.

A great price for a great place. Close to buses and a short walk to the underground. There are a lot of places to buy food near by.

Even if the studio is really small, everything worked fine and was super precise. You have created a very nice place in a very small space! Great bus connections to the city. All in all, a good experience.

We had a great time in London while staying at Angela's place. It was close to a bus stop which we used regularly to take buses into the touristy areas and it was about a 40 minute train ride from Gatwick airport. We were also about 15 minute walk to the tube. It was easy to get to from the airport and it was a nice home base for us. There is a nice convenient store around the corner and a few nice pubs as well. It's also close to Fullham so we were able to take a short bus ride to a match that we saw at Craven Cottage. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again. It had everything we needed and was perfect for two people spending the day out and about while coming home to relax in the evening. Angela was very kind and helpful and gave us our space but was readily available by phone.

Thanks for your review! Yes it's faster to get into the centre using nearby bus/train connections, that get you to Waterloo or Victoria in 20-25 minutes. The regular direct bus to the city is also a great way to see the sights along the way! Thanks so much for staying and I hope to welcome you back one day.
