The space

Art everywhere, second-hand furniture, plants and colors.
Books, records and vintage ceramics.
Relax in our home-made couch, take a nap in the big bed or sit in our big yellow window and look out on the beautiful night-sky.

Guest access

Our home is a two-room apartment and you will have the whole place for yourselves, including own kitchen, toilet and bath.
There will be sheets, towels, hand/body soap, wifi and basic kitchen supplies.

Interaction with guests

Under normal circumstances, we will be out of town ourselves on one of our many trips. If otherwise, I will let you know.
I always do my best to handle the keys myself, but otherwise I will give them to my mother or a neighbor.

I always think that it's best to find a check-in/check-out solution that suits for the single visitors -we are very easygoing ;)

The neighbourhood

Nørrebro might be the trendiest part of Copenhagen, with all new pop-op stores, restaurants, bars and cosy nightlife.
The street right outside the window is filled up with take-away, restaurants, bars and groceries.
Right behind this street there's a little park and a big, green cemetery, where you can visit the graves of H. C. Andersen and many other public and historical danish figures.

Getting around

You can easily take the bus into the city center, or You can simply walk and enjoy the lakes ("Søerne") on the way.

Other things to note

It's fair to mention that this is a smoker's apartment. Victor is always smoking at an open window, but You are very welcome to smoke inside whenever you need.

We have two cats, which are visiting my parents whenever we're away, but if You are very allergic, it might be important to mention.

The flat is just lovely. Comfortable, stylish, homely. It had everything we needed and more, in fact I think it was nicer than the pictures. We even found ourselves wanting to come back early just to hang out there. I'd definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to every couple going to Copenhagen. The host was also really helpful the whole time and made everything so easy for us. 10/10

Very flexible check-in. Apartment was nice and cozy. No issues whatsoever. Delicious spices and herbs that could be used for cooking were a nice plus.

Great location. We were able to walk into central in 15/20 minutes- nice walk! Otherwise, Forum station was just over a 10 min walk. Bus into town is only a few mins walk away. Great communication with Nadja. I needed a hairdryer and contacted Nadja about this and she replied promptly with a solution. The wifi worked very well and the heating was on so we were comfortable. The shower pressure and temperature was great also. Towels were supplied also. Nadja recommended some places to eat and to drink which was great. The bed was comfortable. Nadja left a nice message to wish us a nice stay, which was lovely. Few things I would say would improve the stay at Nadja's. Curtains: The bedroom has a huge window and then a door and separate window which aren't covered. Therefore light from all angles of the flat is coming through. This is fine if you don't mind being woken when sun rises. But when I'm holiday it's nice to be able to lie in. No kettle: we boiled water in a saucepan. This was okay but just took a little longer. Smoke smell: it's the first thing that greets you when you enter. Our clothes did smell even though we kept them in the suitcase. Shower/toilet/sink is quite small. Luckily I'm quite small but pipes on tiles get hot so mind your skin.

Response from Nadja:
Hi Rachel There's a kettle on the stove. It's not electrical, but it's still a kettle, heating up by the gas :)

Nadja was the best host i've ever had. She was reliable and so sweet. The apartment was spacious and sat on a quiet street that was close enough to public transit so it was easy to get around. The apartment was super eclectic and was filled with art. My friend and I absolutely loved staying here. I would 100% recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Copenhagen!

We've spent a few days in Nadja's & Victor's lovely flat in Copenhagen. The appartment is very authentic, arty, and nicely decorated! The location is really pleasant (restaurants, coffee shops and a nice pizzeria right at the corner). The nearby bus will bring you to the central station in about 10 minutes. Communication was very easy with Nadja and Victor, they were very accommodating and welcomed us very warmly! We highly recommend them :)

Young couple in our 20's, who love to travel, and want to explore the world together!

We're traveling a couple of times each year, and want to offer our home to other travelers of the world!

Victor is a student and free-time artist, while I'm a neuroscientist.
Our home is a great mix of our different personalities, with strong vibes of vintage, boho and raw decor.

When we are traveling ourselves, we make a great effort to respect other peoples places, and leave them as we found them, and we except people to show the same respect in our home :)
