We're glad you enjoyed the views - they really are incredible and one of our biggest selling points; and that you found our staff helpful - definitely one of our other biggest assets.
Our accommodation, as you said, has recently been opened - about ten days before you stayed. We did have an electrician on site - making improvements to the outside lighting in the middle of the day. I'm sorry if this affected your stay in any way - we have completed everything to a high standard and when something wasn't right we wanted it to be fixed and as quickly as possible for our customers.
We believe that the countryside setting is one of the stand out features of our snugs! After all, it's hard to come across sea views and heather topped hills in the city. With regards to the pricing; we make it clear that we offer tea and coffee making facilities in the snug and that there is no kitchen. Our prices are comparable with hotel rooms in our local area - and with those you don't get the privacy, the patio doors which open onto the view, the outdoor seating space, the dark sky and starry nights and nobody directly through the wall.
