Interaction with guests

I can assist with any information about the city and our culture, as well if you need transportations arrangements.

I suggest you to install the apps "(URL HIDDEN) and download the map of Cuba, it is very useful to use it offline while visiting our country.

Other things to note

On weekends, there is a lot of partying in the area, so if you are a very active person, you will love this part of the city. Nevertheless, if the noise bothers you, there is no problem, because the windows of the apartment have been locked with glasses to avoid the outside noise.

The apartment was centrally located in Old Havana near The Malecon and several restaurants. The Malecon is a popular tourist spot where locals and tourists hang out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Overall the apt was clean, had hot water and a small kitchen. It does get noisy on the weekends but that was a plus for me and i expected that. Definitely recommend!

DRUNKS AND PROSTITUTES, STAY AWAY - Airbnb continues to be unresponsive. Check in - I arrived to be greeted by my host and two of his friends at the department. One of the friends was very drunk and kept touching me, pounding walls, yelling, and then refusing to leave. My host had not finished preparing the apartment so I had to deal with the friends while he finished up. Missing stuff and unwanted entering into the apartment - No valuables went missing. However, drinking water is relatively valuable in Cuba and mine went missing. The host would also clearly enter the apartment when I was not there. My host brought a prostitute to the apartment, still no response from Airbnb - I came home after spending the morning at the beach only to have my host jump out of the room naked (you know, the room where I slept, kept my passport, money and valuables). I waited at the table for him to get dressed, only to have the prostitute come out of the room, greet me with an unwanted kiss on the cheek, and light an unwelcome cigarette. Then I had to endure my host chatting me up for half an hour trying to explain himself. AIRBNB HAS NOT RESPONDED TO MULTIPLE REQUESTS FOR A REFUND AND CANCELLATION OF THIS HOSTS ACCOUNT

This place was made even greater by Guillermo. He was an amazing host. Helped us in more ways than he needed to. Everything was spotless when we arrived. He answered all our questions & gave us some great suggestions as to what to do around the area. We even hanged out with him a few time during our trip. We made a friend for life! We can't wait to go back!

The location of Guille's place was amazing. We were super close to the Malacon and withing walking distance to some great museums, restaurants and bars. If you're on a tight budget and just looking for a place to crash at the end of a fun-filled day/night in Havana, then this place is for you!

Guille's place was great and he was super friendly and pleasant, even through a bit of a language barrier! Thanks for letting us stay at your spot!

The house was central to many things. It gets a bit noisy early mornings due to construction surrounding the area. House was pretty basic but had everything that you'll need.
